Totally pissed of with today, threw away 3 points, the penalty decision was a total disgrace , who in their right mind allowed Celar to take it, Madsen is our penalty taker and to allow Celar to take it defies belief.
even with the goalkeeper lying on the floor on the opposite side of the goal he still missed.
Overall today played ok, however without a striker goals are at a premium.
Sloppy error by Dunne cost us the goal , however we had chances to win and failed again to take them.
Varane MOTM for me, looking a decent player
Once again subs didn’t help and we lost all momentum to go on and win.

Got to try and hang in there, get players back and get a ####ing striker.

I'd like to add the fact that was a dreadful, pisspoor, unambitious and half-assed Stoke outfit. They were there for the taking but we just couldn't step up to the plate. I have no idea what Stoke's game-plan was but they clearly didn't mind us having the ball in and around their box. Despite being openly invited onto them for most of the 90 mins our attacks were sl9w, stodgy and predictable. My mouth literally dropped open at times when it was clear our midfielders literally did not know what to do when things opened up in front of them, far too much pausing and thinking and not enough just doing it intuitively, knowing where runners would be or where front player(s) wanted it.
Overall it was a frustrating and dispiriting game, not because of being stymied by better opposition, but due to our dumb, slow, clueless limp approach. 2-points spaffed up the wall and the wait for a home win continues.

It's one game closer to the return of Frey and the transfer window. We were five points adrift before this game and that's still the case. That's the only positive I can think of.

i can only think we gave the penalty to Celar to give him his first goal. He failed miserably and to be fair I'm sure he's had enough of this too. I wouldn't be suprised to see him move on in Jan now. He must be as pissed off as we are.

The club needs to set aside any financial planning and get whats needed to stay in this division and rebalance the books next year. The Bhatia's need to sponsor something else to get some more money into the club, or just sell up.

I’d start Alfie Lloyd from now on. After he came on he chased down every ball and looked a real handful for the centre backs. Celar is up there with Dykes in the donkey league.

Dykes is a better player than celar. He actually suits the way we play where we need a lump up top to run, hassle and give their oppo a hard time even if they don't get a goal. Every centre back celar is up against must think it's christmas come early. I'd take dykes back in a heartbeat if it meant selling celar.

Fair number of missing players played when we drew with Plymouth and lost to Portsmouth. We played poorly with them in and out of team.

My view, Marti has lost players. They see him being sacked, downed tools.

Happened to Ainsworth and Critchley.

Honestly why did we let Dykes leave before Kolli signed a new contract, and now they won’t play Kolli because he hasn’t. In which case should have kept Dykes and sold Kolli instead even for a free plus a 50% sell on clause would have made more sense than selling Dykes for £1m. The management are ####ing idiots

At least 2 of the 5 mentioned were missing in those games too.

we have been poor this season especially at home but we haven’t fielded our first choice 11 all season.
