What a fantastic footballer Gavin Peacock was for us. Him and John Spencer were 2 brilliant signings.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it! -

Not sure the £2mil we spent on Spencer was the wisest use of our transfer war chest back then... put all our eggs in one basket sort of thing. He was okay but ultimately we didn't get promoted and the slippery slope started.Comment
