Poor old Heverton, shouldn't take the mickey out of one our players really but christ he looked lost on the pitch - good luck to the lad in the future.
not all signings work out and maybe a decent lad but theirs Brazilian cats with more talent at football

If we get him to renew his contract, that will be the signing in this window I would be happiest about.Minds Are Like Parachutes.

If we had a suitable replacement he'd be gone, it's what the club have to do.
But looking at our defence, he's the only one that can perform at right back, he's a very good centre back also, another area we've struggled in injury wise.
Club has no choice but to hang in there and try and get him signed up, hopefully this is happening and articles like this are just a bit of noise.
Really hope we get some cover on the right this window.

Harvey Vale should we the rangers faithful be concerned?! Sounds like the lad could be a type that would sell his own mother? At 21 he was very close to signing for a club in Saudi. Does that sound like a player that wants a successful career or an extremely large bank account. I can understand older players making it their last move but I do have a problem with it otherwise.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Have I missed an announcement, have we actually signed him.
He's only got six months left on his contract, so took much messing about from Chelsea and will likely pick him up in the summer as a free agent, witn zero sell on clause.
I'm not convinced the signing will go ahead this window. We should just sign him on a pre-contract for next summer and get a short-term loan in.Last edited by SheepRanger; 01-02-2025, 04:33 PM.

I am wondering if the Vale transfer is a bit more complicated than just our negotiations with Chelsea, that is we need to sell a player first to free up the necessary wages in the budget. So it could be reliant on Dunne leaving.
As much as I don’t want to lose Dunne, if this is the case it probably makes long term sense, especially if both Dunne and Paal will leave on a free at end of season. Cash in on Dunne now and get Vale before likes of West Brom or Sunderland move in before deadline.

Taking a while to get a 21 year old Chelscum reserve player in. Is there more going on that we are being told? Is he coming to replace paal long term or being lined up as a option to play further forwards?
Can't be that complicated to get him in. He's free and surely sell on fee etc has been agreed. Has he even had medical. We aren't signing Roberto Carlos here!
