  • Hope this isn't true , if he can't get into Hulls side i doubt we should sign him. Have'nt we learnt anything in recent years . We need players to improve our first eleven not more benchwarmers.

Why mess about? Just say we'll give them £25K right now to sign him from us on a "freebie". Send the doctor a crate of Johnnie Walker Blue Label to ensure the medical doesn't go much beyond checking for a pulse...

I've been a fan of him and generally root for him. But, all that time I thought he was 19 or 20. A few months ago when I realised he was 23 (he's 24 now) I revised my opinion to think he's had plenty of time to develop and should be a more polished and rounded player by now.

It's difficult to not see a loan such as this as anything but the first step on a one-way journey away from Loftus Road.

It could be that he doesn't suit their current style of play or set up. He was a regular until their new manager came in and now they're splashing a bit of cash in the window as well so it doesn't mean he's poor just because they have no need for him. However, pure ungrounded speculation here, but it may be that he has a problem with the new manager, we don't want any trouble makers but if Marti likes him, that's good enough for me.

We must know the guys qualities from his time in the Chelsea Academy. He has been playing first team football at 21yrs, so there has to be something there. I guess EDB out and get this guy into the squad and see how it goes over the next few seasons? Like you, I wouldnt dismiss it, and if it doesn't work out I doubt it would be an expensive mistake.

No news or rumours about Madsen, so I suspect we'll keep him on the bench till the summer!!

Kieran Morgan has played more minutes of Championship football than EDB. Crazy decision to sign him. 22 and barely played 1st team football. Few minutes in League Cup. Another Mick Beale fiasco.

He should have pushed for loan whilst at Liverpool.

                Yes.

And wasn't this the reason that Trevor Sinclair signed for Blackpool all those years ago? He wanted to play first team football as early as possible rather than get lost at a big club's youth / reserve set up. He made 112 appearance for Blackpool by the time he was 20 yrs and signing for us.

This is one of the positives for Nourry. Push them to the highest level as quickly as possible. I was playing mens football at 15yrs, not an equitable comparison, but you get the drift.

What is the point though, if he can't get in a poor Hull side. He won't start in front of Field , Varane or Morgan , he will be back up , might as well keep Dixon Bonner as back up.
We should have bust a gut to get Louie Barry on loan who would almost definitely start for us but looks like he is going to Hull , we need some creativity in the side not another defensive midfielder.
It seems like same old to me , signing players that nobody else wants. If you are going to sign loan players in my opinion they should improve your team and not be bench warmers like Ashby for instance.

                      • QPR deal blow to Tottenham and Chelsea hopes of signing 'spirited' midfielder

QPR are set to hand a transfer below to Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, among other Premier League clubs, by convincing rising star Emmerson Sutton to continue his progress at Loftus Road.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham have suffered a blow in their pursuit of QPR sensation Emerson Sutton.

Emerson Sutton’s sensational rise at QPR has attracted a significant amount of interest from across Europe. Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are all keen on his signature but according to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Footall, Sutton is all set to continue at Loftus Road for now.

The teenager has been a part of the QPR youth setup for some time now. He has gone up the ranks at some pace. While the youngster is yet to make his senior debut, he is knocking on the door with his exceptional performances at the youth level.

The 18-year-old is being compared to English international the in-demand Eberechi Eze, who first proved himself at QPR before making the move to Crystal Palace. Sutton recently made the headlines with a hat-trick against Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup, and his performances have certainly impressed a lot of clubs that have been keeping a close eye on him.

I think this shows why trying to get youth into the first team quickly and properly is so important, sends a message, and also get us talent on the pitch, and also gets us money in the bank when they are inevitably sold.

                              • This Yan Min is one of the most exciting signings we've made in many years. All my mates are spurs fans and they all tell me he is the real deal! Played every game in the top korean league and smashed it not my words but from someone that knows. Only 18 and being played in team of the year and won best young player. Really pleased about this one and my spurs mate know a quality player when they see one.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
