If you can't change personell (which we can't).
Then you have to change the style and tactics (lol tactics).
Haven't seen anything that resembles tactics this season.
Only an insane person would send a team out every week to try to do the same thing that has failed every week.
This of course could be his way of protesting against the board, if he had indeed not had any input in transfers.
But unless we are more pragmatic and play for want of a better description, ala millwall (which really ain't that bad, and gets results) we will go down like a Jamaican bob sleigh team.
    Fast and last!

It wasn't a "bad day at the office". Cannot blame injuries or Nourry for a team playing dull, unadventurous, cautious, timid football. Its all down to Marti. There were a few occasions of the ball ending up in no man's land, our no man's land yesterday. 3 of our players would dawdle looking at each other and a Leeds player would think "aye up, these clowns are asleep" and sprint to a ball they had no right to win. Really bad. Several occasions of players openly moaning at each other too. A collective shambles basically.

it's a complete failure of coaching, tactics, motivation, preparation and set-up.

Marti's had all season to see it, deal with it and sort it out but he's done nothing. Game after game it's same old same old. Irrespective of his contract situation I'd be fuming if he's still here in 2 weeks. The best thing he can do is call it quits - do what Ryan Lowe did at Preston and walk away.

Absolutely word for word Abs ...spot on

Surely every contract has a break clause in it stating how much would be owed in the event of a sacking? Do managers really get their contracts paid up in full? If we had to pay him more than three months salary for his opportunity to manage on England I'd be very suprised. But perhaps nothing suprises me as far as Qpr is concerned

I know the answer. Let’s say we have 20000 proper fans. If we all chip in a grand up front and £500 extra a year we’ll raise £20m and enough for the new signings wages. Might even get a good striker for that. Lots of doses of realism needed or luck with cheap signings!

Our boring , slow , sitting deep lacklustre performances have to change ....we sit bottom.
Marti spends all week drilling in his style of play and the tactics he wants us to adopt on a Saturday afternoon.
He has to go or we go down , don't know who we can get in but give him more time and we will get cut off

I spend enough money supporting Qpr and I'm not donating money to billionaires. If they want to put more money in they can sponsor another stand or other marketable assets. They've got more money than me. A lot of fans lost money buying shares in the club many years ago too.

What can he do in the next 2 weeks? Nourry can be blamed for whatever but the possible solutions to this current shower of sh&t3 land soley at the feet of Marti and his staff.

What are our solvable problems, given we are not getting a new striker etc.

Assume all players are fit and healthy in 2 weeks time.
Stop picking Santos would be a good start. Guy isn't even a footballer.

Get Nourry’s PC updated to the latest versions of Excel, and put him on a training course on how to use it, concentrating on the sort function.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Given our injury crisis i'm not sure what else to do if one of our defenders needs to come off. But he's certainly not showing enough to start or to be considered for anything once players return.

Despite the naff performances, setup and signings, i still think Marti gets another 3 - 5 games. International break, get some players back, go again.

Look at his Leeds line up and then look at who should be in some of those positions. Yeah, the performance was torrid, as weak as i've ever seen and i feel sorry for the fans that travelled to watch that.

But if he had Paal, JCS, Colback, Chair, Fox, Frey it would be alot easier to blame him. No those are not world beating players but they do make up 50% of our best or at least first choice starying 11 from this squad.

If only for the fact there's a contract to buy out it's worth another few games before the chop.

He better be working smarter this break though.

Marti needs to persuade the board to invest come January. Chair and Demby are prob gonna be long term out.
Need to look for cheapos everywhere. Only way out of this madness.

List of free agents supposedly available. Not sure how it would work with work permits etc.

I was baffled at timing of his new contract. It was really premature. If upstairs loved him so much why not do it over the summer? Doing it several games into a season we had started poorly was plain weird.
I'm wondering if there was some real/fake interest in Marti from somewhere else, possibly in Spain, so club felt it needed to "protect its asset" and ensure we got decent compo if he did a "Beale" on us?

One thing, my view is Marti signing that contract meant he was giving validation to the summer recruitment. He was basically saying, yes - I'm happy to stay here with these players. I think that's an important point to keep in mind when folks try and blame the players instead of Marti for our predicament.

I heard, & it could be total ######, that he had actually signed it in the summer. But they didn’t release the news until the fan forum just to have something “good” to report. The same goes for JCS & Dembele, those deals were tied up preseason.

Gregory Vignal ex Liverpool player being touted as a possible replacement for Marti.

Just read this via an internet search.

Larkeche is doing pretty well in Scotland Premiere. Scored three goals from a defensive position! How about bring him back and send Santos to replace him until the end of the season? I never agreed with sending him on loan. Stupid decision!
