Who knows. Another display like last week and maybe. But stats like last week's will test us sorely. Maybe not this game but we need to start competing more or one day we'll crash ...
Win or lose I want to see us match Sunderland, and all other teams this season at home for that matter, for possession, pressing & pushing for the win. We need to get back to being a force at home otherwise we’re not going to survive another season.
I don't know much about Sunderland but I feel a busy nasty spiteful aggressive performance would see them wilt. So, not sure us trying to ballet dance through the game will get us much joy. As for replicating last week's approach - do we really want to park the bus and ride our luck for 90 mins on our own patch, it's Sunderland, not Real Madrid after all.
I would like to see us have 15+ attempts on goal with at least 5 on target. If we did that and lost I'd feel reasonably OK. If we have 2 shots all game AND lose I'll be fuming.
I'll say 2-2 but may revise that once I see team sheet and I'm sniffing the atmosphere at LR.

Personally I like 15 attempts with our players being able to kick all 15 between the white sticks.
We need to at least give ourselves half a start from the kick off and NOT starting with 10 men! Meaning, no Celar anywhere near the team! If Paal is injured then this will further strengthen our team!
I’d like to see a back 3, WBs and 2 in CMF and 3 further forward in a 3-4-3. Just need to have a go and get at them from the start! Yes I know they are top, but stop Bellingham and you stop them! They’re not all that, on a good day and with the right team selection we can take them! However, let’s see if the stubborn Marti selects Celar again (knowing he’s crap!) and putting Paal straight back in the team if fit (also knowing he’s crap aswell!)

Unfortunately the two white sticks and netty thing were not in this blokes coaching manual, just tippy toe back and thro from the goalie to the defenders, hundred of thousand of pound for that, what a bargain he has become.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.
last week was a good result but obviously included some luck. We need to know when to play and when to mix it up. Last week was the right choice. Sunderland is hard as we are at home, but they are doing very well. We should try and impose our game on weaker teams as at best we are a mid table side. We cannot go after Sunderland but must not let them dictate either. The problem is not losing to Sunderland, but losing to Pompey, getting toyed with by Sheffield Wednesday. Those are the games we should be winning or at least not losing. We need a backbone for the fight and sadly we do not seem to have one at the moment. The next three games might yield a point if we are lucky and then we are back to the must win games.

We play badly against teams that we need to break down. When we play better teams, they come at us and we can soak up the pressure and occasionally hit them on the counter. We seem to mess up when we're on top and our attacks break down leaving us open to the counter. There's clearly much more to it than this but it's a factor.
