I don't want to bang on about it but the blokes going to score 15-20 goals this season. He really is that good and I just don't understand why we didn't make more of an effort to keep him. Our losses are definitely Bristol city's gains. We have spent good money on new recruits so money was their to negotiate with. I know this won't get down to well but it is just facts.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Capology have his Bristol City wages down as £10k per week. I'm sure we could have matched that, so if that salary is correct, he moved for other reasons than money. He, and his people, must have thought his career would progress faster away from Qpr. Up to them really...... you can't force him to sign a new contract.

Do you like Frey now, or do you still think there are better players in non-league?

Frey is definitely cutting the mustard. Credit where credit is due. Last season he seemed like a headless chicken but this season his game shows real purpose. Once chair is back I think so many of our attacking players will flourish playing around him. He's been a breath of fresh air and I really didn't see it coming. Just a shame we don't have a Sinclair to play up with him because his pace would also be a huge asset.

Yeah, Frey is a completely different player to last season. It might take Celar the same amount of time to click.

Fair play to SA for settling in at Brizzle. But we got £2.5m for him and signed Saito on a loan to perm. We couldn't play both on the left wing, as SA is not a CF. I'm sure there was a FFP consideration in the sale of SA after seeing previous player walk away on free transfers.

We got money in the bank for SA and a sell on clause. I think we did okay overall in that series of deals that brought Saito into the club.

I think we did well selling him.

A lot of these young modern footballers are employees of slick management companies who basically run their careers - tell them what deals/sponsorships/contracts to sign, who to sign for and when it's time to move or agitate for a move. There is literally nothing a club can do when a player's handlers are advising him to move. We need to forget about ex-players who didn't want to stay at club - there is nothing to be gained from it.

Well said abs if you don’t want to stay sod off and try your luck elsewhere it’s not going to well for Willock either

                    I agree.

Sinc's cut his teeth in our first team rather than the U21s because we didn't have the money to do anything about it at the time. From Oslo's understanding of FFP/PS that £1.5-2.5m sale goes straight onto the books and replacements in are book out annually. That deal gave us £28-48k a week headroom for this season. It was a great deal for us and Siato is settling in well for a small proportion of that headroom. I don't look out for Sinc's progress, but I hope he scores 10+ and gets sold for £10m so we get another £2m from a sell on fee.

As you say, I'm sure his advisers will be touting his availability for next season already. Everyone need their slice of the cake!!

Willock is a spent force. I thought he was holding back last season to get a decent move, but I fear the injuries have piled up and he's no longer the player he was.

I wish Sincs and Willock well, but am more interested in the progress of Siato, Dembele, Lloyd, Selar and Frey.
