Just seen the news that Chair's out for several more weeks. Doesn't look like we'll see him until at least after the international break. The 2 new guys seem good though.

Why, is there a good back doctor there?

We could do with finding a way of creating and finishing without him.

To rely on Chair is a bad thing long term. He's papared over some cracks for a while, but not very well. I mean by that he's not a great finisher and does not create as many chances for others as he could, but does just enough for us to rely on him. We need to not rely on him. Equally, it seems Dembele is quickly growing into an avenue we rely on.

We need ways of creating and scoring that don't rely on one player doing something special.

I wonder where he is in his rehabilitation back to full fitness?

He's been ever present for the last few seasons. I hope it is muscular in his back, but he wasnt involved in pre-season either and muscle strains shouldnt take this long. If pampered Haaland can pick up a stress fracture then so can Chair.

Hopefully he'll be back in light training during the international break, but I have to say I'm a bit worried about a stress fracture in his back.

I thought it was severe bruising.

Marti said it was a bone bruise which is a lot worse than a muscle bruise. I took it he’d be back in months rather than days or weeks.

Is this the third, fourth or fifth transfer window that he is definitely leaving?

Either Leeds don’t want him, we won’t sell him or he’s happy at QPR just a guess !

I have always wondered whether Chair could move further forward and convert to being a fox in the box.

He has pace, skill and at close range knows where the goal is.

Especially as now we now have cover on both wings.

                              Just a thought.

I looked it up and if the injury is ignored it can develop into a stress fracture. Rehab can be weeks to months. As it was noted as severe, let's go with two months complete rest during Aug-Sept. For a young bloke, starting his pre-season training early Oct sounds feasible, with the odd cameo role towards the end of the month. I can't see him being a starter before Nov is my guess.
