During previous seasons, foreign fans have been unable to watch live matches on QPR+ if they are shown on Sky. The new deal comes as a pleasant surprise: Matches shown on Sky Sports and their cooperating channels can also be streamed outside of UK through QPR+. This saves me and a lot of other QPR fans a Sky subscription or subscription for alternative channels showing QPRs matches. I also prefer listening to Sinton & co which is another bonus. Big thanks to EFL for this one!
It is very costly to be a QPR fan living abroad, as a round trip to see two matches (weekend + mid week) with flight, accommodation, food, transport and everything else rarely costs less than £800-1000. I aim to do this three times a year, so it takes its toll on the personal finances. So this new Sky deal is good news for foreign fans.
