Lets just agree to disagree regarding Paladini, all these threads tend to end up in is a slanging match which I have no interest in getting involved in.
For the first time in ages we have won a game, a forward on his debut scored (well done Antonio) we have a new Chairman and with a bit of luck a new manager is on the horizon.
I think we have a bright future.
Or you could give Terry 3 examples and shut him up?

And I'm not going to change your mind either W12.
I actually find the Gianni threads on here pretty dull to be honest some people like him, some cant stand him and others really dont care on the behind the scences stuff.
The bigger picture for me was that Flavio was bought out of the club and the Mittall family have now showed there commitment to the club and we really do have a promising future.
Dowie would not be my first choice, but my bets edge towards him.
It would totally confirm no input whatsoever from Flavio if he came back.
Means nothing, because if your story about Gee Pee and Dowie being great pals is true then we are in it. If these 2 incompetant buffoons are let loose on the transfer market then we are ****ed...have you seen Dowie's transfer record.
Also if we are not prepared to break the bank for Warnock then its says a lot about the direction this club is heading, not impressed at all.

Dowie is for sure an option.
And at least we agree that the club should break the bank and get a proper manager.
For me Warnock is the best thats currently available and is exactly what we need at the moment.
Yesterdays result peppered over a pretty poor game.

Dowie is not an option you need to wake up, his stats for us tell us he was a good manager in a short space of time but having watched all but 1 game under him (3-0 defeat at Sheff Utd) I can say with confidence he will be a poor long term appointment.
Curbishley and Coppell are also available, appointing Dowie long term is a sidewards step and this cliub needs to move forward.
GP not happy with a 2 1/2 year contract for Warnock? All newspaper speculation of course but if there is a grain of truth in it (remember GP has confirmed he was a paid informant for newspapers in the past) then how on earth does he justify the contracts handed out to Hall, Agyemang, Pellicori, Alberti, Padula etc etc

I'm absolutely bewieldered, Warnock is on approx 750k per year at Palace.
The manager is the most important man in the dressing room, if there is an element of truth in this then we must continue the Anti Paladini Protests.
Why is GP involved in anything related to who comes and goes into QPR FC as he is a disaster and more worryingly, on the basis everything he has touched in the past has broken, why do the new people they let him continue.
Meet and greet in the C-Club is his role im afraid.
That newspaper article sounds tosh to me so why are you even giving it an ounce of credibility?
What is happening at the club is fantastic so I would say a bit of patience is required now. Sit back and see what unfolds before making judgement on anyone. Our new CEO seems like a very shrewd man and we have to place our trust in the new board until proven otherwise.

Whether you like Paladini or not is unimportant. It's whether he is competant, professional and suitable to be involved at any level in the Club that is important. And it's clear from all the evidence over the last couple of years that he isn't; and that the Club will not progress whilst Paladini has any kind of involvement.
Pretty sure the mittal clan will see past the smiles and realise he has no qualifications or credentials to be in charge of the big project. Bring in your own man and do it properly.
Do not trust him with the mittals dosh (should it come). Think he interfers an awful lot and fb has taken the brunt of it. If gp stays then I wonder who the scapegoat will be for any future uck ups.
