Without being disrespectful but would you move from a leafy district of London to Burnley or convince your missus to go best of luck with that one.
As for going to Leicester they could end up wit ha points deduction which pretty much sends them back to championship. Think he'd be better off with us for at least another season and we do what we can to keep him long term

I'm putting my bets on Liecester at the end of this season or within 2 years. Something about that club, their manager is gonna get poaches and they'll come in for him.
Burnely may sniff but he'll say no.

Telling you now Marti is no Beale. If we do really well he'll stay, if we do ok and someone comes knocking he might consider it. Mckenna, Kompany (last year), Wilder (last year), Russell Martin, all doing good things in the last 2 years and they are still where they are.
We are always gonna be under speculation of losing a good manager because we're a London club, and a small one without much money, we do have a decent profile and not to be self promoting, when we play well we really do play well, and that seems to be a surprise to most. Marti is new, shiney and foreign, media love new, shiney and foreign.
We'll be hanging onto Marti until next season at least, his own performances will dictate how long for. If we push for promotion (4-8) we're in trouble, clubs will start sniffing and our project might be taking to long, top 1-4 i think he's staying, lower than 8th i can't see anyone coming in.

At least we should finish above Plymouth next season.
Have no idea why anyone at this level would recruit Rooney. No doubting a fantastic player but comes across as frankly thick and has failed at all managerial attempts so far. He nearly took Derby from relative safety to near relegation in his first season. Even the praise he got for his second season there despite relegation many people are putting down to Rosenior. Birmingham he pulled the carpet out from under their promising start and if anything owners gave him too long.
As I say though good for us albeit hoping for much improved season anyway.

If he's going to go it should be sooner rather than later. We've already missed out on Rooney as a possible replacement.....

Marti would be a great fit for for Leicester and their current manager had not managed before so Marti has a lot more experience. There will be a lot of managerial changes in coming weeks and inevitably Marti's name will come up given the impact he made last season.
My view is he will be on the monitor list of mid-table Premiership clubs and below but I suspect they will want to see what he can do over the coming season so I am more expecting serious interest from higher up clubs say midway through this coming season and this time next year if he excels.
He will get probably serious interest from some higher up clubs in this league, say level of Norwich, but I have a feeling he will not leave for that kind of club as he is onto a good thing here and it is going well. For him to move it will have to be a level above that so either a top level club at this level (meaning one with automatic promotion prospects) or bottom end of Premiership but with realistic aspirations of staying up there and establishing themselves so Leicester or Southampton types.

If you search "Marti Cifuentes" and limit results to past week all that comes up in terms of Marti leaving is ONE post on X from a LCFC fan suggesting that they should go for a "young up and coming manager like Marti...."
Even by today's ridiculous standards where there are literally millions of folks idly chattering on t'internet and any of those posts can be seized and higlighted as "news" by lazy publishers of news/content - that is a very tenous and weak source.
Look, thousands of providers need to fill their pages and output with tons of football related content against a backdrop of virtually no domestic football taking place. There are what, a dozen managers in the EFL who got a decent end-of-term report, so it really is inevitable that those managers will be in the rumour mill anytime a bigger club needs a gaffer. Marti is one of that dozen.
