Whenever we defend a set piece our players are static and react when its too late and the opponents score from the second ball.
When we have a set piece of our own the players make a run but are then static instead of reacting to a knock on .
This is the sort of thing schoolkids do .
Do our players not really care and can't be bothered or are they literally brain dead and do'nt know the basics of football ??
They are fit enough to run for 90 mins surely , pass and move , forwards please not pass backwards and sideways and walk about .
I know like 15000 other fans each week that Paal and Chair don't normally get the corner past the front post , so why not have a couple of our players at the front post to flick on and then move for the second ball , instead of every single corner being cleared before one of our players even touches it.
Do we actually coach our players for set pieces , i very much doubt it . even when we have a throw in , in the opposition half we normally lose the ball and the opponents end up on a breakaway attacking our goal. It has been like this since Warburton was here.
I thought Lucas Anderson was supposed to be a set piece specialist so why did Paal and Chair continue to take them when Anderson came on tonight ??
Are our coaches that #### or is it the players that are brain dead ??
