Have we really missed him? Not sure. We have not covered ourselves in glory recently and l can’t say I’ve enjoyed seeing the club not at its best. But lm going on Saturday with a new mindset and confident we can improve. It’s in our hands still. Though only for a limited time

The irony is despite our "clever dickery" with the deal structure, we ended up with a non-player.
Still, hindsight is a wonderful thing and I can't recall anyone actually rubbishing the acquisition of Richards at the time he joined

Thought meant we could buy at agreed price If he performed.

From latest podcast of West London sport it sounds like all the clubs in this country have agreed to steer well clear of Mr.Richards.
It's like they all know hes a wrong un and a waste of space. We clearly didnt do our homework and are now left with this clown being paid very well for 4 years for doing f all.

TAYLOR Richards has returned ‘home’ by joining QPR on a season-long loan from Brighton with a view to a permanent transfer
The attacking midfielder has joined on a season-long loan from Brighton. All being well, the 21-year-old's move will become a permanent one
I think this was words to cover the fact that this was a loan with an obligation to buy. However, they might not have been able to state it that clearly, as the reason for the special arrangement was to come around the FFP limits we had in 22/23. By postponing the acquisition by one year (buy now, pay later), they could push costs/amortisation to subsequent seasons.
Richards is obviously having serious mental problems. I think this is much more common in football than we are aware of. 99 out of 100 young talents never make it. Being on the payroll of Manchester City as a young man creates enormous expectations, and I do not find it hard to understand that some might get mental issues when these high expectations are not met. While it certainly hasn't helped, I do not think the death of a close friend is the main reason for Richards problems. The reason is the enormous disappointment connected to failing to deliver on a career that looked so promising at one point in time. He might well be disposed for depression in the first place. These things are often as much linked to genes as anything else.
As much as it frustrates the #### out of us fans, I think we shall let QPR and Richards get on with whatever they try to do to sort the mental issues and get the lad back on the pitch. Some "gentle" information from the club to stop the speculations would not hurt though.
If you read this, Taylor, you should know that QPR fans are backing you to succeed, and we know you have good abilities! You have a good network at QPR that wants you to make it.

He'll reappear when his contract has year left, giving it "want to put last three years behind me, focus on my football"

Bloke is well paid to play football and he's not doing that .
He might be depressed , have issues . We are all fighting our own battles .
My eldest gets up at 4.30 , 5 mornings a week to go to work , so I have no time for a waster given a God given talent like Richards.

I know everyone is different but I have no time for that waster either, two seasons of nothing from him.

Genuine question, if he was formally diagnosed with Psychosis or Schizophrenia wouldn’t the club player insurance pay out like they would for a physical injury?
