“Victories give confidence to the group, we have had some of the best practices of the season this week. The victory wasn’t just about the three points, the small pieces have given us confidence that we are on the right track - we limited them (Millwall) to two shots, one of those on target and we scored two very good goals.”
Paul Smyth missed the visit of Millwall through injury but is expected to be involved this weekend.
“Paul Smyth had a good practice today (Thursday), we are expecting him to be ready,” Martí continued. “Everyone else, we are expecting to be available apart from Rayan Kolli.
“We know how demanding the Championship is, we have a busy schedule coming again, every full week we get with the squad is a gift to allow us to work with the players and get our messaging across. In recent weeks, we have seen clear improvements in exactly that.”
Really should (and must) win. Start quickly and keep it like that. Come off at the end knowing you gave it everything. That will be enough against them.
If we have any intention of staying up tomorrow is a win and no excuses just get the f### ing result. This is Huddersfield and we are QPR let’s start showing it
You Rrrrrrrs
Yep, a win feels massively important we need to build some momentum from the Millwall victory, some tough looking games coming up, it won't be easy, but I'm feeling more optimistic after last weekend.
Two goals inside the first 15 minutes saw Town see off Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium in October.
Another revenge Match !!!
Aside from an horrific opening quarter of an hour where we inexplicably played like drunkards wearing concrete boots we did okay up there. Pulled ourselves together, got back in the game and probably shaded the second half. Reckon we'd only have to play 5% better today than back then to win comfortably.
However, I've got a feeling there's gonna be a useless outcome for both teams (there normally is when to struggling teams meet) so I fear a 0-0 might be incoming. Hopefully I'm wrong.
