It took Alan Shearer a while to start scoring goals. In his first two regular seasons it was 3 in 26 and and 4 in 36. Yes it was in the old First Division and no I am not expecting SA to reach quite the same heights but teams are finding him difficult to play against and he has the raw attributes so like most would look to tie him down. An offer has apparently been made and it would not surprise me if SA was sitting on it seeing if anything else comes his way and/or what division we will be in next season.

Sinclair for me has so much potential, still very raw but I think the lack of technical ability probably comes from that lack of experience still.

At the end of the day hes only 20 and is still developing, you sometimes need a few years for a player to really show his promise, ive got no doubt Sincs will be a great player, he just needs to improve on a few aspects of his game.

Agree definitely has potential and all the attributes needed. Still young and needs time and guidance shame we are in our current position if not we wouldn’t consider losing him

Sinclair is probably suffering more than anyone from the club not having a decent goalscorer. If he had someone like Charlie to work with I'm sure his goalscoring return would multiple significantly. Case in point was the difference in Dykes when he had Austin. There must be an ex-striker out there the club could bring in to work alongside him.

How about Charlie. Wouldn't be a January without his name coming up. Miss Chaz.
