UEFA just lost the super league case, they said it was illegal, and the court found against them.

The FA couldn't afford to go to court and lose, they would have to review the ffp rules and make it fair for all clubs or do away with it entirely, rather than go to court.

      Ah yes, good point.

Anti-competitive creating a closed shop. Just like P&S.

The problem with P&S is that clubs voted for it and then do everything they can to get around it. Why cant a Jack Walker spend his money on home town club? As long as the money isnt entered on the books a repayable debt then people should be allowed to put in as much as they like. Even with these controls in place our owners have still invested the thick end of £300-400m. Its amazing that they havent got anything other than a £20m training facility to show for it......that takes some doing!! Im sure if someone equally as daft would give them £50m for the club they'd walk away.

And it's only European Federation teams that are plagued by it. We'll see other leagues overtake us in time.

All the Championship clubs voted to accept FFP including us .
FFP is anything but fair because the clubs with the biggest fanbase can generate more income and can therefore spend more , which is anything but fair.
This was all brought about because the elite teams at the time , Man utd , Liverpool , Arsenal etc did'nt like Chelsea and Man city muscling in to their monopoly and were worried others would start doing it and pushed for a limit on spending under the guise of being worried about clubs going out of business if owners walked and left clubs in debt. What a load of ######.

The sooner they abolish FFP the better.
It's killing smaller clubs like us.

At some point, they will have to take a good look at it and get rid of it. The sooner the better.

Chaz is a sensible poster but has the funny qblock Pete posts in his locker, definitely take it with a pinch of salt
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

etc just have a few friends high up at qpr who I speak to regularly.
you will all see in very soon I was right about this .

                  im out and deleting myself.

good luck listening to Connor qpr lol
Um, how are you not "ITK" if you are speaking with friends "high up" at QPR? You can't say you're not ITK then state information comes from "high up" and blurt it out here. All very confusing.

Sorry to go on, but why are you telling everyone you are deleting your account? That's also quite odd.

I see Monday is D-Day for the Prem announcing which clubs have breached FFP (Everton and Forest rumoured to be in the brown stuff)... BUT. Is Monday also the day EFL clubs find out their fate?

The whole thing is now supposed to be a fast track process with verdict/charge/appeal/punishment ALL boxed off within a couple of months so nothing drags on beyond end of season. Therefore, you'd expect to hear within days and certainly by end of this month.

Tomorrow there is a Staff meeting to talk about cuts and preparing for life In league 1, we've also got 14 players who's contracts are done by the summer the likes of Dunne wilock Dozel.

I Think it's a slippery slope and where not even half way.

I'd expect nothing else thst we should plan for the worst case scenario.

However the word "plan" does not not happen at HQ

                        Nice try though.......

Well, news came out, just not what Mr Austin was predicting. Is he a little fibber or is there more to come? How jolly exciting.

                              And there was me thinking:

What happened to the FFP breaches
The missed payment(s) of FFP fine(s?)
                              The points deduction
The imminent plummet into League 1
The extra costs of a bright new young CEO
How was he attracted to the nightmare we have all chosen to support

Is it all sweetness and light (once again)?

I actually think the opposite. I think this supports Chaz post. We have removed hoos who is clearly on a huge salary to bring in a young lad who's probably not even on 20% of his salary so it's certainly a big part of the cost cutting. I'm pleased hoos is leaving but that's for separate reasons
