I did wonder if this new appointment in CEO shows that the deduction is incoming if we don't do something about it, rather than happening on Monday, as was intimated.

Chinese whispers me thinks, with truth in them, but not as imminent as thought.

Still obviosuly trouble, still work to do, but surely doom is avoidable rather than inevitable.

marti isn’t happy and could possibly walk in the next few weeks
What's happening with all the "sackings" and "...fire sale of players"? Where was the info regarding a new CEO coming in?

Wouldn't expect anything to materialise ahead of any formal charge or punishment being levied by the EFL. To me, there's very little meaningful transfer activity going on across the league and it's eerily quiet..... makes me think there are a LOT of teams sat on an FFP knife-edge.
The only irritant for me is the lack of any deadline or date from the EFL where clubs get to hear their fate.

Not directly, but Hoos effectively sacked and given the chairman honourly role. Certaintly a shake up going on and Im sure the new CEO will continue that trend. We do seem top heavy ob backroom staff and short in the squad. Only time will tell if its cutbacks or moving the budget around.

Our new CEO, I feel certain is intrinsic in the future of our club. Any salary we might be paying him I feel is irrelevant. If I had to guess we will wait until all of this FFP stuff is resolved and the consortium our CEO really works for, will show their hand. Nothing else makes any sense.

              I wasn't aware of that.

Well, that's semantics. Sacked is probably not accurate. Stepping down or aside of his accord or byt mutual agreement is more likely.

I think Hoos probably stood down as he seemed pretty fed up when he did a big interview quite a few months ago now.

Sacked, resigned or asked to step down, its all the same to me. The timing is aligned to Ramsey going so this shake up does have one eye on FFP in my opinion.

Les was rumoured to be on £600k when Hoos was CEO. The new broom wont be on those salaries in his first job working directly for a club.

Its been mentioned that Millwall have 40 less non-playing staff than us and are going better than us for less. We have too many bods on this gravy chain trying to re-invent the game of football.

There's a lot true in what KA has bern told, but I suspect its been exaggerated slightly. However you dress things up, we're spending too much on none playing staff when its produced sweet FA. If you want a team to produce more wins try buying a decent striker......hows that for footballing insight for you?

I'd rather let MC find the players he wants to play in his style do his own scouting than have a dof we can't afford let him be the front of the club rebuild it and stick long term with him regardless of relegation or non promotion develop kids sell them on and rebuild could be 5 yr plan maybe longer but come back stronger

with the mess the clubs in have a reboot on amd off and stick to it

God, you lot don't half like making stuff up. How on earth is Loos semi-retiring a sacking? You lot are a funny bunch.

When someone posts about knowing very important information and none of it comes to fruition, it stinks of "look at me". Next he'll be asking for his account to be deleted in the public domain...oh wait..

Its amazing how some think Hoos semi-retiring has nothing to do with the budget, transfer window and the start of a restructure that has already seen Ramsey leave and a new CEO being appointed, who was also part of a consultancy firm who undertook a strategic review of the club initiated by the owners.

Totally unconnected......happy part retirement, thanks for your efforts and your thoughts during your leaving interview.....oh there wasnt an interview.

                          Timing a pure coincidence.....

Hoos retired at the age of 60 because he wanted to spend more time with the family. Give me a break! He was fired for having fauled to deliver and because we need to cut costs.

So we must have paid him out too if that was the case.

Where is this bottomless pit of compensation coming from?

Big, expensive clear out and taking 10 point deduction of the chin?

Given the Chairmanship and will probably leave after this seasons accounts which end 31 May. I doubt Hoos would expect a pay out until the next accounting year.
