Desperately disappointing performance, and a chance to pull clear of the bottom 3 wasted.
Frustrating to watch,things tonight just did not come off, not sure the sending off helped us as Plymouth set up and defended superbly, we did not move the ball forward quick enough and tried to walk the ball into the net.
Feel MC maybe got it a bit wrong tonight, Armstrong in 90 th minute being an odd move.

Kelman was kept on to long and basically is not up to it, Kakay was truly dreadful a low point even for him, Field got stupidly booked after 90 seconds and had a really poor game. I suppose we were due a wake-up call after 3 straight wins and this was it
Still another point in the bag on a cold and wet night.

I get rotating 5 games 17 days however we looked out of sorts from 1st minute kakay and kelman offered sod all and need to go.

Think sending off got us a point as I could see us losing they were far quicker to everything

Kakay was absolutely appalling. I've never seen someone give the ball away so much. League 2 player at best.

I said pre match I've seen nothing from Kelman in his Rangers career and tonight was no different. Another League 2 player at best. The embarrassment of signing him because he scored a goal from the half way line. Pub players can do that, we don't sign them!

Lucky to be level when Plymouth went down to 10. We were sloppy all over the pitch. Picked up after the red card but not much to get excited about.

Second half was absolutely terrible! Could understand Field and Paal coming off as the ref gave Plymouth everything after the red card but I suppose you have to put trust in players? However, I can understand why Marti did it.

Thought EDB was poor tonight but to be fair was played out of position at right back.

Taylor Richards just needs binning. The lad does realise it's not walking football? Lazy!

Marti was poor tonight as well for me. Substitutions were poor during the second half. Cannon is a threat going forward and he basically removed him from the game when switching him to the left. EDB at right back didn't work either. Surely the right substitution was JCS for Larkeche?

We played with zero pace or movement and it was easy for Plymouth. Game was crying out for the pace of Smyth and Armstrong to inject a bit of something but they didn't come on until 78 and 90 mins.

Overall I thought everyone looked clueless in how to play against 10 men. Players and management.

It's been a great start under Marti but tonights performance would have given him plenty to think about, which isn't a bad thing with the transfer window around the corner. The bonus is we didn't lose. Onwards and upwards to Hillsborough!

Sums it up for me, i'd add lucky for the first 25 minutes, we should have been punished for such poor passing, could have been what we needed to wake us up. Marti was sceaming on the touchline. Compare this game to the Hull one and there are some similiarties, we were alot worse here but these gaps we have in midfield are not good.

We need to develop a better understanding of movement to play this way as a sqaud. Afew players can play out from the back and through the pitch but we're let down by weak links, we all know who they are.

Hindsight says we should've had Sinclair and Smyth on earlier and resorted to crossing and scrambling in the box. I thought as soon as the red came out that it was going to be tough to do anything with how poor we were. Honestly I reckon they're kicking themselves for not cracking on the second part of the first half, they could have and they'd have had every chance of nicking a goal.

Some players, Kelman, Richards, lack urgency when running without ball in my view. Movement off ball is more important than what you do with the ball.

Kelman and Richards don't look interested when they play. Larkeche, you can see he wants place in side. Put him on, covers ground, gets involved. Unlucky with concussion last night.

I feel for the likes of Kelmen and Dykes - so many times especially when Cook had the ball - they made a forward run pointing where they wanted the ball only for him to take 3 attempts to pass the ball meaning they had to check their run.

the same with chair - his insistence of beating his man checking back - beating him again - then cutting inside means you have 2 forwards losing any forward momentum- so when the cross comes in the are standing still and unable to get any momentum on their headers.

Puzzling what happens to this group of players. Lucky not 4-0 down after 15-20 mins (their strikers hopeless). Rs seems to lose focus completely right thru the team. Needed smith pace earlier and dykes should have stayed more central after Armstrong came on. Chair too deep second half hunting the ball. But Plymouth were very very solid second half aided by us switching ball too slowly

There was a real lack of movement throughout the team last night , as said Smyth should of been on for kelman earlier.
I don't know what Marti see's In kelman , kakay and Dozzell they should be subs at best . Why change a winning team , surely 2 games a week is fine for fit athletes .

Kelman is a number 9 not a winger
his our best finisher at the club
at championship level I don’t think his good enough. Sums are forwards up
however Marti had to try him out to see this in a competitive match I can’t see Kelman or kack kack playing again for us unless we have major injuries
it was one of them games it just didn’t click
we will have more of them this season and every season like every team does
It’s a point gained and we haven’t kept 3 clean sheets since 2018 !!!

It was going to be a good test of where we are in this divison. The players initial attitde and effort to keep possesion was poor. (why?) We could have been 3 nil down the the first 20mins of the game. As already stated Kelman and Kakay are just not at Champiomship level. Also no real "intellegent" play from midfild in creating chances.

Plymouth went for the jugular which I think took us by surprise and we had no response to it. Luckily for us they had a man sent off. Stating the obvious but think it showed how paper thin this squad is. Will have been a good lesson for Marti as well. He has managed the squad very well so far but yesterday was extremely poor. Sadly if our core players are not available and/or on form we don't have much in reserve. That is why I am not taking if for granted we will be coasting our way out of trouble despite the recent results. If we want to stay up we will have to fight for it. Hopefully we will see the desired response at Wednesday. Should be an interesting match as they will be well up for it.

The speed and accuracy of their attacks were amazing. They pinged the ball around with great confidence. Therea no way Plymouth are going down if thats how they play.

We looked disjointed, lacked movement and awareness of where players were going to be. So much for MC saying we've been working on our angles and creating space. But its very difficult when when they had a back line of seven players. But we looked clueless.

This Sat is going to be very important for the relegation fight:

Sheff Wed v Qpr
Millwall v Huddersfield
Plymouth v Rotherham

Qpr, Millwall and Plymouth wins would do nicely.

Then we're likely to be 3 games without a win and in the bottom 3 on Christmas Day. We basically ballsed up an opportunity to get out of bottom 3 and drag Plymouth deeper into the mix. We cannot be content simply with "not losing" against teams in our mini-league.

Only positive I can draw from last night is hopefully any deluded folk who thought we were about to storm up the league will give their heads a wobble and realise we are in a dog-fight to get to 50pts. A performance like last night ought to be a reminder that the survival target is a long way off and requires us to be winning at least every one-in-three games. We can't be putting ourselves in a position where we need to be winning 5 or 6 out of last dozen, we need to rack the points up ASAP against bottom half teams. Difficult to see us getting anything from Saints, and Wall will be their usual obdurate selves...... Saturday looks like our best shot of a festive 3pts in my view and we should go up there all guns blazing with no thought of anything but a win.
