Tranmere fan in peace!
Appreciate this a post for purists but some of the elder statesmen of this board may remember a young player that started his career at QPR named Ian Muir. Despite only making a handful of appearances he ended up eventually finding his way to Tranmere Rovers where he became and remains our all time record goalscorer.
Despite the few appearances his time at the club was a significant part of his career and working with Tommy Docherty and Terry Venables, and representing England u20s at the World Cup whilst at qpr feature heavily in the autobiography the Tranmere fans have funded which is released on 9th December.
If any of you are interested in buying a copy - put qpr in the notes when buying and I will ensure in signs it at the launch.
thanks for your time! (And for Ian Muir) (and Steve Yates!)
