Who would want any of out lot? Seriously. Chair and on his best day maybe field. Willock has no interest in being here. We prob won't see him again in a qpr shirt. Serious attitude problem and injury prone. We have a few of those already!!

I'm hoping there's at least 2 loans coming in and we need ppl like drewe/kelman/waster richards/Armstrong out on loan.

I fear the damage is already done.

Even if we do bring 2-3 players in, the scale of the rebuild required imo is too great to avoid relegation.

Think one of two things needs to happen on assumption we have no money. If we don't bring in at least three new players we are, in my view, very likely to go down so:

              1. Sell Chair and invest in four new players to include replacement for him. That would be a ball playing central midfielder, two x wingers and a striker. Assuming all Championship standard would give us half a chance of staying up. That would though mean a reasonable amount of Chair money would be available for transfers which may well not be the case and probably two of those being loans.

              2. Accept we are almost certainly going down and sell whoever we can now for as much as we can get as if we wait until we are relegated we will get much less. That would allow us to maximise player budget for complete squad overhaul in summer with a view to hitting the ground running in L1 next season. I know not a great option but if we can't do anything in January may work best longer term. I just don't see where goals coming from even with players fit at moment so if we are farked financially in terms of being able to sign anyone now long term planning may work better for us.

In your last point I have previously mention Clark-Harris and Devante Cole who are both into the last six months of their contracts. Both score goals regularly in L1 and may be better than Dykes!! Probably £300k each now....

Imo accepting relegation will finicially pact us further lower crowds to start with and I can see us stopping down for a few years we've got a L2 squad in terms of ability

MC I think will stop even if we drop for a rebuild but L1 is a scrap with bigger clubs in there than us

Don't disagree and happy with manager even if we end up in L1. We need a complete rebuild though. Last three seasons we have been relying going forward on Chair and Willock winning us games. If they don't produce a worldie or equivalent and/or are out we have no plan b. We just cannot create opportunities and have just one senior striker who seems unable to operate effectively with just him up top. We need to have much greater cohesion and that means being able to dictate play by having a ball playing midfielder and having players who can get the ball into the box and create chances. We also need competition and a strike partner for Dykes although if we go down hopefully someone will give us say £2m for him and we can get 2-3 strikers in. We can't keep doing the same thing season after season when it doesn't work.

There are clubs in L1 and L2 who spend a lot, and the dynamics change completely, youd think wed be among the favourites to come back if we did go down, but there are some good sides in L1.

Club have reportedly spoken to Nottingham Forest about a loan for a striker and Aston Villa regarding a loan for a Midfielder.

Whilst I question the source, it does suggest the club are looking which is a start.

I think I read that Forest have a first team squad of circa 40 players. There must be a lot of their championship promotion squad ready to be moved on.

Nor sure if its been mentioned before but I'm sure I read somewhere that Luke Freeman is training with us. If chair is injured for a while and willock is tos sing it off again, won't mention the waster from Brighton, Freeman on a 5 month deal could be worth a shot. At least he is capable of playing the ball forwards, can take a free kick and a corner, something none of our current lot are capable of!!

Luton gave townsend a contract and hes been great for them!!

Might be tempted with an 18 month deal. Hes 32 in March and has had a good rest for 6 months.

There's far better run clubs in L1 that spend not a lot who scout far better as well that's our issue recruitment.

I live 10 mins from Peterborough they about to flog a cb probably for 10m who came from Barnet sold a cm to ipswich came from Barnet for 1.5m got two wingers who score and can cross from sodding Lambeth think Dagenham and other from Colchester it pi££es me off when I know Jack Taylor who went to Ipswich comes from Hammersmith our network of finding talent is shite until that's sorted we won't improve
