Dykes gets no service to him , saying that he has no instinct .
Today was the best I've seen kakay play .
Willock kept the ball but did little with it .
As said in the middle of the park colback , field and Dozzell are very slow , would have been better to drop one of the 3 and go 2;up top as midfield were miles away from dykes at times .
First half we were dire and sat far to deep , came out after the break and much improved.

My first game in about 9 years today.
Agree with most of what you say but i thought Kakay was'nt too bad today , that attempt at a cross near the end was diabolical though , Cannon will surely be ahead of him anyway .
Colback was poor first 20 but improved after that , a big problem for us is a lack of pace and energy in midfield with Dozzel , Colback and Field .
We never looked like scoring and created little but with Chair back and Willocks fitness improving and hopefully signing a striker in Jan , even a Prem youngster on loan will surely be better than Dykes , signs are looking up.

Was at the match today and I think we could have been there all night and still not scored. I've already been a fierce defender of dykes. But today I am all out of excuses for him. I know he's not the striker we need but having watched him closely for 70 mind it's clear he's not going to be the player we are looking for.

His lack of anticipation and awareness is what alarms me most. He just seems to have no reaction to what is happening around. Him falling over when trying to trap the ball in the second half sums him up. A trier but not good enough. I know the service he gets isn't the best but today there was 4 or 5 crosses in the box and he never got close to making contact with them.

I was disappointed with willock too. A few times crosses were put in and he showed no determination whatsoever to get on the end of one. He was bright in the first half but never looked like he was the one who was going to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

We are in desperate of a goal scoring Central midfielder. Dozzel was anonymous yet again and should never have started. Colback was johansen mark 2.

We played some nice stuff but not one shot on target tells us that this coach has his work cut out finding goals in this lot. Lastly i woukd tell Richards to do us all a favour and #### off. A waste of a wage on a player.

Armstrong was lively off the bench and caused problems but our problem is that we never have more than 2 players in the box all the same time. We never win the first contact which is why a central midfielder who can arrive late into the box would make a difference and pick up the second ball and have an attempt on goal cos our strikers can't finish their dinner.

Can’t pick up that ball because Dykes control is non existent, Kakay is what he is, a hard working limited defender, often think he could be better in midfield, give Willock a run of 10 games and see how he gets on, I thought he was much improved today, same with Richards, showed some good touches but 10 odd minutes here and there will never show if he could be an asset.

Thought Collback as the experienced midfielder showed the least, some of his tackling is crude and reckless

Like you say bus good to see the old lot still go , very loyal some of them boys (old ####ers ).
I only went because my grandsons football team got some free tickets . The grandson supports Arsenal but now says he's QPR as well , started asking me about season tickets . haha. He loved it .Sat in upper loft and my legs are still hurting after being crammed in to those tiny little seats , not for me , it's too much of a chore going to a game for me but fair play to all you chaps that go most weeks .
I think we will be ok now we've got rid of Ainsworth and we'll stay up but even if we don't we have to stop the managerial merry go round and stick with this bloke .

Very different to what we have suffered under Ainsworth management, we now have a style that suits the players and they are responding. Our only major problem that we have had for 3 years is scoring goals.
Honestly Dykes is just a extremely poor player, barely second division standard.
The manager has steadied the team and now needs to get a goal scorer in January.
Lots of positives today with the main one being Willock, his best game for a long time, Smyth gave their fullback a torrid time and hopefully coaches can help his final decision making.
Only negatives apart from Dykes was Colback who did very little and Kakay who is not very good.

Many positives today but lack of a goal scorer is a huge concern.

I personally think we need to go out into the free agency market and look for a decent striker, even if its on a deal till the end of the season.

Billy Sharp and Lyle Taylor are both available and would do a job for us.

Dykes just doesn’t have it, his first touch isn’t great and even at set pieces he doesn’t run onto the ball. Sadly he’s also isolated if the ball does get to him, yesterday whenever we did stop messing about at the back and got the ball up the other end of the pitch he was surrounded by their back four. He needs a Heider Helguson to play off of him

It's not particularly sexy but he does get the whole team 5/10yds further up the pitch. That might not sound much but like you DO notice the difference when he's not there - we're suddenly pushed back a bit.

As an aside, I read somewhere earlier that Billy Sharpe had been released by LA Rumble or whatever they're called.... If he's kicking his heels he might be a short-term fix but I can't see he'd be any better than Lyndon really.

I thought he was doing ok in L.A.

Living next to the beach, also L.A. Galaxy pay decent wages, so he must have really pi ssed someone off if they have released him.
