Was yesterdays team selection a reflection of who is not backing GA on the training pitch?

But Huddersfield are a poor side. Not even getting a point makes the performance irrelevant. The stats, particularly possession, were certainly higher than recent matches but the outcome the same - no points

Play like that against better sides in the division and the same outcome - no points - will happen every time

This is a (positive) results business and Ainsworth isn't getting them

One upside....there are a couple of grounds in L1 that I've yet to visit

Don't count on visiting L1 grounds were losing 500k a week in the Championship with lower home and away gates in L1 smaller bar probably Derby pompey if don't go up will only add to increase in losses, yep we'd flog what's of value but realistically they could be gone in Jan if we're that far adrift

We're in a total mess these owners can't work out a way forwards Ainsworth aint got ETH squad to tell willock look get playing well and get your move or stay and be hero etc. If he wants to do something proactive get F kin Richards to sit on the coach and give out sarnies or put the f ker in the stands with fans. Whilst got sympathy with anyone whose lost mates relatives it happens every fan will of lost someone but were back at work whilst we got passengers like Richards taking easy cash and he treating willock with total disrespect as a seat warmer and watching ossie kakay week in week out fk up. While the gave it everything speech has run it course GA has pretty much the same squad Beale had bar stef and colbacks better cooks solid he's not got sodding clue in what's wrong and time he buggered off

V critical of GA not making subs early v Blackburn when obvious changes needed. Yesterday seemed to make subs when team were in top and we lost the initiative. It’s not all about hard work, brain cells important.

Subs yesterday was more like a kids team trying to give everyone a game. Id start Kolli Armstrong out wide lads got no finishing instinct

Huddersfield were absolutely awful and we still didn't look like scoring from open play. GA saying the transformation was incredible was the final straw for me. Huddersfield sitting back on the 2-0 lead and being one of the worst teams in the league was what helped us Gareth. There was zero transformation. We looked like conceding every time Huddersfield went forward and we created sweet fa again despite having all the ball, 1 shot on target I believe? We looker dangerous from set pieces but in general play we never look like scoring.

The fact we went 2-0 down in 15 mins after two weeks off to put right the previous drubbing speaks volumes imo. Where's the fight Gareth? What have we been working on?

The players look like strangers! Armstrong making runs into Chairs path when we all know Chair wants space. Armstrong should be taking the defenders away from Chair not towards him! Chair taking a million touches before passing or crossing. The attackers don't have a clue when he's going to deliver the ball, so make runs for nothing or just don't move. It must be so frustrating waiting for him to cross or pass. It's basic stuff and we can't do it!

We won't stay up under GA. Simple as that, so he has to go. It's either go down with GA or make a change and hope someone else can keep us up.

For me, its time the owners owned up to their mistakes and sacked GA.

Ainsworth will always be well regarded as a player, but as a manager, its been disastrous.

given our finances, we dont have much room to do anything, unless we make a sale or two, so for me this makes Warnock the best option until the EOS.

At the end of the season, our 2019-20 FFP losses are wiped, as its over a rolling three year period, so for me it would be an ideal time to get a young manager in who has good contacts in the game.

Mark my words Huddersfield will get relegated I can see why Darren Moore was sacked by Sheffield Wednesday his a poor manager and Huddersfield are a poor team I honestly did cut us a bit of slack and thought ok we are bad but we are not as bad as Huddersfield until 5.00 yesterday and realised we are worst than Huddersfield and that takes some doing
get rid now while it’s only 4 points from safety
I knew from Oxford pre season we was going down with Ainsworth !

Unlike a little earlier in the season there are some good options out there, one or two of them might even consider us!

Rowett - very good manager at this level and four good seasons as Millwall on small budget.

Warnock - get him in for rest of season and line up longer term appointment for next season.

Warburton - latter part of his time with us awful but overall did well over his three seasons.

Eustace - ridiculous decision by Birmingham. Well respected assistant with us and was doing well for Birmingham.

Beale - not overly convinced after his failure at Rangers but could be a useful marriage of convenience for both sides.

Scott Parker - personally thought massively over hyped at Fulham but got promoted both with them and Bournemouth. May feel he has something to prove.

Nathan Jones - poor short lived stint at Southampton but did great at Luton prior without spending money.

Dean Smith - decent career record overall and very experienced.

Frank Lampard - did well at Derby at this level. Ups and downs at Chelsea first spell, not so good at Everton. Could galvanise team or flop.

Chris Wilder - career has kind of stalled but certainly done well overall during his career.

Whether any of them could do much with the current squad who knows. I feel our first 11 should be able to compete at this level but beyond that squad threadbare. Had Cook, Fox and Dykes been fit we would likely have got something out of Huddersfield but overall we create so little. Maybe we do need a manager better suited to the players we have as others have said on here. Such a shame as I doubt we will ever get anyone as committed as GA or such a decent guy.

Don’t think we can afford to sack him, we’ve brought in a league 1 manager because that’s where we will be next season , players not putting it in either look total amateurs especially defending Chair probably the most overrated player in the championship, too many not up to the standard of the championship

If the club do the right thing and sack GA, who are we bringing in? For me its 1 of either warnock or Jones.

Would either make a difference or who is better suited to sorting this mess out and giving these players a better game plan rather than put 11 behind the ball, hoof it long and hope to nick a goal based on 25% possession..
