Getting rid of those two has proved to be fatal. OK, didn't know Beale was going to leave, but imagine if he we still had Warbs and Eustace? They had us playing good football, plus Warburton had the football brain Ainsworth doesn't seem to have. OK, he was a bit stubborn, but if we had the perfect manager he wouldn't have been at QPR.

Warbs stubborness cost this club, if he'd been a bit more pragmatic we'd be building for promotion pushes by now the way things were going.

If we'd gone down last year, I wonder how we would look now. I said that staying up would just be a longer drawn out death, it's happening.

I don’t think this is about players other than the inexplicable Willock situation. Yesterday felt like management froze at 0-2 when obvious changes were needed. No changes at half time. Team selection seemed to be more based on noisy fan and WLS posts than logic. Tactic of sticking. Chair wide left all game wasted what he’s good at. Only regular chance creator on the team. 4 at the back with personnel changes made no sense. Even WLS lost the plot on their marks with JCS getting a 7 in a defence that let in 4. GA just talking about work rate blah blah didn’t address the formation was wrong and the some players roles in it also wrong.

Waiting until the 71st min to even make a sub yesterday was utterly shocking management.

I personally feel the only option is to get Warnock back until the EOS, get some stability, and then get a young manager in who can at least get this squad playing some decent football in the summer.

It does help that the season we spend a lot with transfers is wiped from our FFP calculations and we have 14 players out of contract at the EOS, so there is scope for a major rebuild next season.

Ainsworth needs to be moved on.

Those WLS ratings were very odd.

What on earth would induce NW to accept this poison chalice and risk tarnishing his reputation. If he were, somehow, to rescue Rangers, he's be replaced at the end of the season, some reward for his efforts!. If he couldn't which seems most likely, what would he have gained?

It certainly wouldn't be financial gain as we don't have two ha'pennies to rub together.

Jorge Vilda is steeped in Spanish football. The Spanish ladies literally played Lionesses off the park in WC. He got sacked in fall-out of that snogging attack by the baldy exec bloke.

His skillset might lend itself to coaching a bunch of lightweights with low testosterone levels.

                        Saw this as an option on a Facebook forum;

'Bring in Warnock as GA's advisor'

While I do not think that is a sound solution, 2 cheerleaders are not the way to go here. I do think appointing a hands on DOF could be an option. Ralf Ragnerick style. GA is a good bloke, he loves the club, we all want him to be good. Why not save some money on paying the poor bugger off and get someone in for the season to really help get this guy up to date?

Not sure who the bloody hell it would be. Warbs would be too controlling, but he could be keen on a DOF role.

Neil? I dunno, he's not a DOF type.

Suggestions? Good idea? I kinda like it, i'd rather be undermined and get some help rather than be fired.

Wayne Rooney. Can barely string a sentence together and comes with a load of baggage but being linked with Birmingham should Eustace go suggesting Championship likely destination. Nearly kept Derby up against the odds albeit flopped in MLS.

We weren't allowed to speak to Marti Cifuentes the last time we approached him.
