5.37 The Queens Park Rangers (QPR) football ground at Loftus Road is a cramped site with limited opportunity for expansion, and the Club’s ambitions should be considered in planning of this area over the next 20 years. The football stadium is a valued community asset for the White City community and the pitch is designated as openspace. Therefore any redevelopment of this site would need to include a sport/community/leisure facility that could achieve substantial benefits for the community as well as open space.

Thanks, I think I had this debate with Olso that there was a covenant on the ground that means it cant be sold for full commercial housing. During the Paladini year, Nic DeMarco tried to get the covenant removed without success. The plot therefore has limited/reduced value that cant be used towards a new stadium build in any significant way.
What youve found evidences this.

As part of our £1m Coronation Youth Fund, we’ve awarded £250,000 to the refurbishment of the Linford Christie Stadium in White City - including new floodlights and resurfacing of their two athletics tracks.
So that site is out for us !!
