The problem Beale has is he is in a two horse race and he is riding a donkey in comparison. For him to be viewed as a success he needs to overachieve and beat Celtic. That is what would give him credibility. Still early days but he has not looked like doing that yet. Anything less will be viewed as a failure regardless of Celtic's comparative strength.
Also agree his exit from us cast him in a very bad light and clubs will be wary of him as if he does well he will be off quickly.
He is the kind of guy who comes with a whole lot of hype. Whilst he started well for us we still don't really know if there is anything much beneath the hype. Have been plenty of great coaches who have gone on to be poor managers.
