Very difficult to judge this game, we made 7 changes they made 8, then 12 subs came in, #### knows who ended up on the pitch.

Norwich better team towards the end and were the better reserve team.
Was does Ainsworth take out the game, well for me it showed Archer is not very good,Adomah is embarrassing and should quit, Gubbins is league 1, as are probably SDM and Bonner, although both showed glimpses of good play, disgrace of the night was Richards, little effort and very little else.
Fleld head and shoulders above any other player on the pitch.

Good to see the youngsters, plenty of effort and let’s see how they develop.

Dykes injury looked nasty but he is a tough #######.

Overall plenty of effort but created few chances.

Agree Richards has a nice touch but Is lazy and overweight.
Dozzell lacks that yard either to get away with the ball or to get to the tackle . , the fella lacks stamina.

I knew when Norwich brought on seargent and Barnes that would change.
Tonight justed showed we have no strength in depth and can't afford many injuries.

Sounds like Richards spent too much time hanging around with the likes of Roberts and willock last year and the penny still hasn't dropped for him. This lad is another one who we will end up paying to leave. 3 year deal for a lazy disinterested " I'm doing you a favour being here" type. Why are we still signing wasters like this??? Stealing a living and now a drain on our wages for 3 years.

Dozzell has been here 3 seasons now and we are still told he lacks stamina. How long does it take to get yiur sh1t together!! Another one who isn't good enough and on a huge whack per week. We have a small squad yet we are carrying players already. Hope we can do a money plus crooks deal with boro for willock. We need a presence in the middle of the pitch and someone with an eye for a goal. Crooks has that in his locker.

In terms of strength in depth they had big guns on the bench to bring on, and, because our reserves went toe-to-toe with their reserves they had to turn to their big guns.

Who know what would have happened if we had likes of Chair, Smyth, Armstrong and (don't laugh...) Willock on the bench to bring on? All in all I thought it was quite encouraging aside from Dykes getting crocked - that injury is why I'd have been content to give the vast majority of the 1st XI the night off and let the second string take a pasting. Hopefully, Dykes isn't too badly hurt and will be back in contention Saturday.

Think that sums it up nicely not a disaster apart from dykes injury still leaves us in a good frame of mind for Saturday seems whatever GA is saying is finally getting through let’s hope it continues that way

Yeah got allot of time for Romford, one of the better posters who always gives an honest write up! I think it's definitely time for Chris Willock. GA come out and said he wants him to stay so let's give him a run out on Saturday.

Totally agree l would start him Saturday he has played some good football for us. Sometimes the head goes a bit with these boys and they lose a bit of direction. Can’t believe he’d rather be on bench instead of playing. Few more chances and if no change then ??

on way home on wednesday

yes i was disappointed with the result and the way we lost it in the last seconds

however i came back from that game very upbeat we played okay and yes we could have played better however its the fact weve got decent youngsters looking hungry on the sidelines

i thought Dixon Bonner in flashes looked decent
Duke McKenna looks like he could fill in at any time and i would go as far as saying hes already able to replace Dozzell full time or at least go ahead of him in the pecking order

the 2 that stood out for me though were Ryan Kolli and Alez Aaroha both look like they have that little something about them it seems there is life in our youth structure after all

it also seemed that the 8 thousand that were there on wednesday were well behind GA which i thought was nice and the footballi witnessed was much better than i was expecting

i think we need another striker but with kolli around im not sure were gonna get 1 with him and Sinclair Armstrong around the future is actually looking bright
i thought Kakay looked very good to be honest yesterday but i still do think we need a right back on loan too
