Just binged watched the documentary on sky re Burnley. It’s a really good watch
Without spoiling it for anyone, Vincent Kompany really impressed me.
Tactically - no stone left unturned
Motivationally - clear that the players hang on his every word
Standard setting - phenomenal
The way he speaks is clear and consistent
Managing upwards - does it superbly
Media - polished and professional
Now, I do love Ainsworth but really is struggling versus the points I have made above. I really want him to succeed but he does look and sound like a man on borrowed time
Let’s hope that Cook and Colback start tomorrow and make a real difference
Let’s hope that we have a plan for tomorrow and a plan b
Let’s hope our so called flair players turn up tomorrow if selected - I hope he starts Chair and Willock but they play ‘next’ to each other
Let’s hope he starts with Armstrong who is a massive handful
My team
Begovic
Kakay
Cook
Fox
Paal
Field
Colback - if fit
Willock
Chair
Armstrong
Dykes
