On the way way home saw Aaron Lennon in duty free looking at the prices of aftershave . Remember thinking yeah u really need to check the prices playing for spurs .

Saddened to see this. Always thought his sacking as manager was harsh. One of those players who had a resurgence in latter part of this career. He really did have a stellar career overall. Always came across as a gent too. RIP.

RIP seemed to have time on the ball even at 35 , remember a couple of goals he scored in front of the loft on a horrible Tuesday night, think it was against Sheffield Wednesday, the second one he sort of hooked it back past his head facing away from goal to win the game 2-1
