Totally agree about having players with good attitude .
however talent beats attitude all day long
These lads coming thru the door are not good enough for us we seem to think picking out players from league 1 and 2 we will find some gems . The gems go to bigger clubs .
we are better off getting players like that young lad from Fulham who are good player’s but can’t get in there team

only way that works is if we are in the premiership and pick out top championship players as most teams in the premiership do this

Remember Mick MCarthey getting sacked by Ipswich when they were in the Championship.

They brought in a League 1 manager (can’t remember his name) who filled the team with League 1 players.

No surprise they were relegated that season to League 1.

A lot wanted Les Ferdinand out including me however im already regretting it as I don’t think he would rubber stamp these type of signings . But the board are trusting Ainsworth

back him to be first manager sacked in the championship .

im a realist and know football and I know when a manager and certain players are completely out of there depth we had this for 12 odd games last season getting battered home and away playing the worst football I’ve seen (don’t let Burnley game fool you we got battered and should of been 4 down at half time .. yes we won but that was a fluke ) and I can’t see any improvement with the players that have come in they don’t improve us what so ever in any way

so that’s spirit .. it’s called being realistic and any fan that thinks since Ainsworth been in charge we have been good then football isn’t for you .

Your clearly not a GA fan King, and to a certain point i get it resluts were abysmal from Oct onwards and GA style at Burnley and stoke got results which tbh at Burnley were a fluke they should of but didnt kill us off in 20 mins. however im not too sure what GA could of done given the squad could of done Willock head had gone awol Dykes had an awful illness and the kids aint up to it. im still concerned re who we may bring in the lad from fulham is a prospect i think he will do well.

Were going to look complete idiots to bin a manager in september unless we sign some top draw players which i doubt will happen L1/2 and a couple of loans will be our limit. im not sure we can attract a top manager prospect with where we are at were skint youth is poor and a modest clearout at best ican only see GA being here to Jan at the earliest when we may be forced to buy and back another manager but with funds tight he may be the guy that does well or flops, however i couldnt see us staying up last season and he puled it off.

I don't really get what some fans expect from ainsworth , I guess his remit last season was to keep us in the division , he did it .
The football was poor but that's wasn't his fault . So many of them had downed tools .How did willock go from fantastic to p poor , that isn't ainsworth fault .
We can't sign big names , this season it's shopping in the lower league's .
I reckon he'll sign players that put 100% in every game , last season needs to be forgotten , it's about pulling our socks up on the pitch and putting the hard graft in and see where it gets us .
