  • Wigan, Reading and Huddersfield all facing points deductions.

Wigan look like they are about to be deducted 3 points for non-payment of wages, this would mean they go from 33 to 30 points and be 8 points from safety

Huddersfield are close to adminstration and if they were to do this by tomorrow, at the time of writting this, they would be docked 12 points and would drop from 32 points to just 20 points and that would relegate them.

Reading could be docked up to six points for failing to abide by an EFL business plan, they would drop from 44 points to 38 points.

    What an absolute mess.

Football been money crazy for way too long and most professional teams just can't compete as they would like to. Look at us, lower end budget Championship and our wages bill is I think higher than our turnover. It's crazy. You can't run a business like that and we will be far from unique. It is only getting worse too. If we halved our player budget would be about right but that would rely on us staying in this division with probably lower end League 1/League 2 squad. Hate to think where things will be in a decade's time.

Thats why I have been saying that the current FFP rules are no longer fit for purpose, perhaps limiting wage bills to 70 percent of turnover is the answer.

25 percent of all Championship money are with just 4 or 5 clubs with parachute payments, which is mind blowing to say the least.

Yep... A dozen more infractions and points deductions dished out could see us in the play-offs!

We already have a p!ss weak league one standard squad as it is to try and compete in the Championship! We should be looking to save money by doing away with positions like the DoF, CEO and the countless back room and training staff that we simply cannot afford to pay on our budget! The playing squad of any team should be the most important, not the 200 plus others at the club that are forcing us into this position! We are not a Premier league club with Premier league money coming in or being invested in!

Close the womens team for a start - waste of money!

Sell a QPR Womens franchise if someone wants to run a team. But our owners bought a men's football team.

Outrageous and don't forget they should get the same wages as the men and have their very own female director of football and in house nail salon.

trouble is the nail salon is used by several members of the mens first team, even more worrying is that some get injured having them done !
