been saying this for the past 3-4 transfer windows
even the luck of getting in Chris Martin on a free shows how clueless Dykes is
Millwill offered £3m for him in Jan.
We turned it down because we dont have any other options up front. I suspect he'll be gone in the summer if a similar bid is made. Same bid was made for Field from Southampton.
I can see Dieng, Chair, Willock, Field and Dykes all being sold. But i dount we'll get more than £20m for the whole bunch. Then it will be down bringing in players who are out of contract or buying some from L1 that GA likes.
FFS - Hes been called up to the Scotland squad!! Surely with what hes been through snd the games hes missed he should pull out. We all know he'll come back injured!!

Look on the bright side, p'haps it'll enhance his value, he generally scores for them.
Ooooo, if he does score, maybe he'll get some confidence back, and blammy he scores for fun for us.
Lyndon is great for effort but sadly that is all. The stats say it all- we need a proper out and out striker like Charlie was and we would be ok. Sadly we are conceding for fun and are not really sure where the goals will come from. We should have cashed in on him when we could.
Some on here talking through their ass as usual about Dykes do they actually understand that his job is to hold the ball up and play other players in and hopefully get on the score sheet, the state of our crossing is abysmal even Martin is struggling to get on the end of crosses, his last goal was laid on by Dykes with a quality cross which the other muppets can't manage.
He and Martin can't do anything if they don't get the service from the so called wide player's or midfield, all they get is a long ball from the centre backs which 9 time's out of ten is far to long and ends up a goal kick to the opposition.
So get the blinkers off and see what is happening elsewhere on the pitch.
We could have Messi or Harland up front and they would struggle to score with the pathetic service for the front players.

100% agree. Find players to create chances first, then find strikers who put chances away.
I agree Macca in terms of holding the ball up. He isn't great at that either and some of his misses have been proper Sunday league too.
At least he wants to play unlike some of our so called stars. Too busy putting the earrings in and getting their gloves and snoods out! When your in a battle you need soldiers not shirkers.
I can't see how dieng could have done much more with the goals today especially the second. Its no different to us winning the first contact in the box. He stops the shot, our defenders could have reacted quicker by getting the second contact and clearing the ball instead of allowing the opposition to follow it up.
