I listened to John Cleese being interviewed a little while ago and he said something that struck a chord. Broadly he said that people have no idea what they are no good at. When you look at instances such as Liz Truss or Radio 2 eg, there may be something in what he says. People often rise to the top in business for all the wrong reasons and end up way out of their depth. It seems likely that we have such a situation at our club.
