Shell shocked is all I can say, stating the obvious we are in free fall, would sacking NC help I’m not sure. This team is totally shot and cannot buy any luck, shocking decision to allow Chair to take the penalty with Lowe and Martin on the field.
As far fetched as it sounds if we had scored the penalty we had a chance of going on to win.
Sunderland second half were out of sorts and may have capitulated, instead we did, the defending is now pathetic, Dunne and Dickie like a comedy double act, midfield none existent with Dozzel a liability
No lack of effort but with this team that is not enough.

Will the board bite the bullet ? Will it help, I’m really do not know, crowd has finally turned, managers do not usually survive that.

We are just clueless in both boxes, Dieng should
Have saved the first two easily and as for up top, we had 2 shots on target all match and 1 of those was Chair's pathetic penalty attempt (why was he allowed to take his first penalty at such a crucial stage with other better options available?). There just seems like no outlet when we attack and a lot of our attacks seem to result in much more productive counter attacks.

1. We have 2 attacking wing backs and then play no one in front of them -we are so narrow
2. We start with Martin up front and then provide no width to get crosses in the box.
3. We are insanely slow from restarts and so easy for the opposition to press us
4. Dozzell ……enough said
5. Late substitutions …what is johannson going to do with 10 mins left.
6. Sam Field? What exactly is his role in the team because he doesn’t seem to know what it is.
7. Tim- that guy needs a rocket up his #### - so laid back and lackadaisical
8. Seny - see point 7

the guy has had enough games to put his stamp on the team and the mick Beale thing can no longer be used as an excuse.

I said the other day "that you could copy and paste the match report", and so it continues.
Each game seems just another carbon copy of the one before.
I can tell you now what our team will be on Saturday, how we'll play and what the result will be. It's all so predictable, unfortunately.

You look at that team yesterday, we had amd CM playing RM (field), Chair AM playing LM, Lowe RW playing ST and no balls to Martin. I watched us try and play a straight ball to him 10 times last night and not one was anywhere near him.

Also the half time warm ups for sub, please tell me other saw it? it was like ring around the rosie, how is anyone going to be ready for a professional game if the warm ups are more basic than sunday league!

What NC should of done last night was play the 4 at the back have a narrow midfield 3 that work together as a unit up and down, side to side and played 3 up front with Chair and Lowe wide and Martin in the middle.

I Don't think field knew where he was playing . Dozzell dropping Deep just to play everything sideways and backwards and slow the play down allowing Sunderland to get into their shape
Move the ball quicker with some intent .

It's not only Critchley who needs to go, his after match conference was embarrassing, obviously hasn't got a clue and there is no way he can get us out of this. His talks couldn't motivate an under 10s team , not sure we can afford to sack him on a 31/2 deal, but maybe cant afford not to sack him? But look further our so called DOF is destroying this club him and the board have a lot to answer for, they're the ones who need to GO AND NOW, we are only heading one way down but Teflon Les survives taking his £500k a year for being a failure, picking managers and player on Algorithm's, what the fu(k is that. if i done my job as badly as him with his appointments I'd have been sacked ages ago
