"If you ask any coach what they need, it's always time. I know what I want to do and how I want to do it. I have to find a way to get the best out of these players."

    NC on bbc sport

So he knows how but needs to find a way. What??

The question is not whether we can afford things or not. I think the owners would be happy to splash out a big check if it could solve our problems. After all, they are already spending close to £1.5m on QPR a month, which is £50.000 a day. It is a costly hobby to be a football club owner!

The question we have to ask is if sacking Chritchley and and the entire back room staff and possibly pay compensation to another club to get their management team would be just the final element that brought us over the FFP boundary, with a big point deduction as a result. I do not know how close we are to the limit, but I guess we are right up to the border line.

Hence, we might find ourselves in the situation that if we stick with Critchley we might have a small chance of survival, while if we sack him we will get a point deduction that will take us down for certain (not necessarily this season, but once the point deduction is handed out).

I do not know the terms of Ferdinand's contract. He might not be on a time limited contract like the ones managers have, but I suppose it will also cost quite a bit to terminate his contract as well.

So be careful what you wish for. Asking for their sacking might be asking for points deduction and relegation.

It does not matter if we pay it over three years or even ten years. The hit to the P&L and thereby the FFP calculation will come instantly in the 2022/2023 accounts.

Can't see it on there. Only thing is some first team performance analyst has left us to join West Ham. Not complicated job. After each game report would be still carp. Hope the Hammers aren't expecting big things out of this appointment.

Thanks, can't see it has appeared anywhere else yet. We will see. Problems go deeper than manager. Not sure at moment whoever is charge could do much with what is available.

Don't underestimate value of Performance Analysts. James Madison mentioned how Leicester performance analysts improved him this season.

Bottom line, the squad have proven it has what it takes in this league to perform.

Therefore a new guy at the helm needs to bring this back out of the players.

It's not going to be a shouty angry rocket up the ass type, unless he comes with a very solid footballing brain, this team are running around, they'll run around all day but they are not phyical enough to respond to just being told to get stuck in.

Critchley is never going to get out of this hole. Just don't see it.

FFP or not, new guy at the helm is as good as any signing. Tough decision for the board.

                            Wilder?

I have always been one who believes in giving managers time. However, I think NC’s time is up.

He just doesn’t give off the impression that he knows what he is doing or able to motivate the players. He screams ‘coach steeping up to interim head coach’ to me. I think he is very out of his depth. The guy doesn’t come across has a confident speaker nor a leader – how does this rub off on the players? Simply put he is a youth coach / coach.

No signs of things turning around, and we are free falling. On the topic of giving time; this isn’t 3, 5 or 10 games. This is 15 games when he has won just ONE.

Please Les or Hoos or whoever up top, if it is financially feasible, I think its time to let NC go.

We are in complete freefall at the moment, this man does not have the character, the backbone, or the football nous to change anything , anytime soon,!
There is not the merest of signs to cling on to, nothing!
i wanted to give him a chance, I really did, but I thought from the start, he isn't a good fit for this club or this team, I have been consistent iny views over many threads on this, I say cut the losses now, look elsewhere, I can't say who or where, but this can't go on, for the love of god, it just can't!!
