Will be a painful next few weeks based on what I saw for myself last night and against Burnley

Forget top 6 - zero chance
The lack of any type of form is worrying without a goal threat dour draws and an odd 1-0 win look NC best options at present

Thank god January is coming round the corner, because we badly need reinforcements.

We need another attacking mid and a striker imo, and we need to ship a few out.

We have squad full of attacking mids. That's the problem. 4 number 10s..no left winger and no decent right winger. Sign a left winger and a number 9.

Our DoF needs to go along with the position itself. The club needs a manager that has full control over the players bought in. He’s the reason that we have no striking presence whatsoever. He’s hidden behind our ‘Head Coaches’ for a while now. Each time things go wrong our Head a coach gets the blame, get the sack and Les is just allowed to continue doing a bad job.

Having a DoF in a club rarely works and is obviously not working for us. It’s no surprise that in however many seasons in the championship now, we’ve had one top 10 finish? The position only exists in QPR because our board wanted less to do with the running of the club.

All of this aside, it’s extremely disappointing to see how uninterested our board & owners have become in the club. Ever since they failed to get their hands on some W12 land on the cheap, they barely even manage to turn up to games anymore and only surface online when we manage a win.

Our youth set up needs a good looking at too. The club seemed set on their model to focus on home grown talent, which I am in complete support of… but they have struggled to do that. Regularly changing the format and the coaches at that level failing to hit the mark with many players. We’ve had so many players come in on trial, who we’ve let slip through and then they’ve gone on to successes elsewhere.

There is A LOT to be answered for with the club in its current state and personally, I believe the club needs a reset and restructure.

Spot on, my concern is the state of finances ain’t great and we need to sell to buy, handing out ridiculous contracts to players like nico that decision alone is scandalous. As for calling for NC to bugger off 4 points from 9 will keep us up however I fear for us next season with what we can afford to bring in drop may be a step too far financially

There’s definitely a lot that needs to be answered for starting with the DOF and the board. Something doesn’t seem right with our finances. I completely understand the club hadn’t been in a great position ever since the fine. However there’s a lot I can’t get my head around… Whenever we sell, all we know is that it was for an ‘undisclosed fee’ and they continue to say we have no funds. For example, when we sold Eze, that fee was believed to have been between 18-20m+ add ons?… yet the board immediately said we have no funds to bring anyone in…

Also making fans pay (much more than they should’ve) to rename a stand after a club legend and relying on bonds from fans to build a training facility that took far too long to break ground on.

it’s a far cry from how committed the Mittal family were and how Fernandes once was. Not forgetting that one of our vice chairman has been linked on more than one occasion with buying into another English club.

just doesn’t sit right and it’s time for some change!

The fact the Bees sorted ground for a stadium and we’ve piŁŁEd about it’s needed tell Hammersmith help us or we’re off for longevity we need to move it’s old needs a lot doing to it it’s not as if it’s intimidating with where we are at. The board don’t seem bothered unless we win it are top.

Les job far to comfy for my liking

As for the owners nice people but haven't got a clue about running a football club.
Les Ferdinand and Lee Hoos picked Mick Beale. Within six months, two clubs made offers for him. You must agree, they made good choice last summer. He was successful and richer clubs came in. That's football nowadays.

Neil Critchley, similar background to Mick Beale, time will tell. Hopefully, he'll straighten team out, get us playing well.

I think more important to get right manager than superb striker.

Agree with youth setup, too many players between 22-24 hanging around in U23s.

Ok the man has just got here, and yes it's maybe too soon to judge him, but if he doesn't inspire me, then how the hell is he going to inspire the players, employees in any job need a good leader to get the best out of them, MB certainly had that in him, at times, before he snaked off, but we look like a rudderless ship at the moment, not just the team, the club as a whole, I can't see any direction in anything, we are treading water in jelly, and in danger of getting sucked under unless someone gets in there and grips everything, who or when? I have no f ucking idea

I think I was more disappointed than most when Beale left this football club and yes I have said he will be a world class manager and I stick with that comment. Anyway we move on but unfortunately we have a manager that looks about as useful as a chocolate teapot. He certainly looks lost on the touchline. I'm not sure why Willock wasn't starting. Even if he trains rubbish he's still miles ahead of any other player in our squad. I just hope we bring in a decent striker because we clearly lack goals. Willock at least looks a threat on the ball and we can't say that about many others. Critchley doesn't have long until he becomes the pantomime villain. As a manager you could at least get your act together even if your players can't !
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
