  • Two goals in last eight games

This stat is alarming and completely unacceptable. Tonight we looked totally toothless against a duff Cardiff team low on confidence and drew another blank. Luckily, the points we picked up in first dozen or so games gives us some breathing space otherwise I'd be very concerned. That said, if we carry on like this for next 8 games the drop-zone will be looming.
Critchley has a big task on his hands and badly needs the board to sort out some incomings that possess "shooting boots" in upcoming window.

His 4 points from two games is good but that performance wasn’t & Neil knows it, he knows he’s got a lot to work on especially the forward play & that was dire today

Why did it take Neil 72 minutes before subbing out the front line?

What he had to bring on was barely better than what he took off to be fair, he's not got a lot to work with, I'd have liked to have seen Chair on with Willock for a while, I don't understand why Chair wasn't fit to start after playing a whole 45 minutes in Qatar?

Im sure a few players out there were effectively on trial for us tonight in advance of the transfer window.

NC said he didnt want to be influenced by MBs view of the squad. After tonight he will know exactly what hes got and so will the Board.

Im still of the opinion its going to be a busy Jan for us. If there arent 4-5 out and replacements found we'll end up mid-table. Bringing one additional CF in to support Dykes just won't cut it.

To be fair, no goals conceeded since Neil took over. Start with defence, then forwards.

Putting 2 up top would help. We started sinclair and lyndon together against Cardiff and game was over by ht. Since then we haven't looked the same. Go 3-5-2 and get crosses in the box. We can't go 4-4-2 as we have no left winger and can't put paal there as no left back. We have a very unbalanced squad made up of mostly average championship players. Dykes needs service and people around him, not 20 yards away.

Yes. Someone upfront alongside Dykes seems a no-brainer. Having him upfront on his jacksy with virtually zero service is clearly not working on any level and worse still, making him look rubbish and probably destroying his confidence. It's not as though 4-4-2 is some sort of ludicrous theoretical formation - for best part of 100 years it was the "go to" set-up for all teams and worked very well too.

We have lots of central midfielders, no wide midfielders. 4-4-2 is beyond our current squad, need couple of signings.

Abseits, you should beg Warburton to come back. Under him we were scoring from right, left and middle - few teams scored more than us.

Shodipo`s last match for us hopefully. He`s not good enough. Sadly, Albert should be just a sub from now on.

Hopefully his agent is negotiating a deal away from Loftus rd.

                            Walton and Hersham bound hopefully.

                              He needs a Bob Hatton.
