  • Great start for Critchley

This is the best we have played for a very long time. We defended very well and PNE only produced a couple of decent chances all match. We could have had 3 or 4 goals on another day. Fully deserved away win on a day we missed Chair, Johansen, Balogun, Roberts and Amos.

Hat off to Critchley and the team!

Yes. It's somewhat inexplicable how the team went to pot since mid-October. I'm convinced we have a decent team on paper that ought to have a good chance of top 6 so its very encouraging that Critch' (I feel I can call him that now) stopped the rot. Today's fixture was a nailed on defeat as far as I was concerned given the venue/weather/form we were in - great start for the new gaffer and well done to the boys for rolling their sleeves up and displaying a level of grit and determination I doubted they had.

We have to be really careful where you're taking this Jimbo.
Beale is a brilliant coach and will become a world class manager so lets not kid ourselves because he has left the club we all love.
I've played under many different managers during my playing days and i've heard and seen enough to know that Beale is the real deal.
I'll definitely back the new manager and I wish him all the best but Beale will be at a top 6 premier league club within the next 5 years.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

You clearly played to a professional level then rather than your local leagues?

If you think he'll be managing a top 6 premiership club (only one English manager at the moment) within five years then he will need to leave GR very soon!

That's correct sheep and certainly not local leagues.
I know this doesn't certify me to judge a manager at boardroom level but i've met plenty of good and bad ones during my playing days and I would certainly of loved to play under beale.

I definitely don't see Beale being at glasgow rangers for more than 2 years.
It's unfortunately like the current job market, you have to keep moving if you want to continue being financially rewarded and he has all the ingredients to make it to the top.

I think that's a valid point. However I get the impression it was less about Beale's coaching ability and more about the players getting wind of the fact he was eyeing up moving on - It's conceivable someone like Balogun with his connections at GR was aware of Beale's intentions some weeks before Beale slunk off to Scotland. Still, who cares? Beale is yesterday's man and meaningless to me - it's onwards and upwards with Critch and his 100% win record with the Rs.

Hi mate that's correct. I played for Walton and herham, Egham town, Molesey under Clive Walker and even though he mainly played with Chelsea he wore a QPR tracksuit with pride. I also played county level mate and Chertsey town in early 2000's

If I had John Terry's arrogance I'd of probably played much much higher. Championship/league 1 level. I was definitely much better than zesh Rehman so I guess luck is also a key factor bus

Rumour has it that he'd been talking to other teams not just Wolves & Rangers, think players knew he wasn't going to hang around just a matter of time, players probably stopped playing for him, i know its wrong they should be putting in for us too,

Yes, a big lier. His stat with us wasn’t better than Warburtons stat (his two last seasons with us) so I do not buy into the idea of Beale becoming a top 6 Premier League coach. He was found out in the end. Rather have Critchley.

If beale is destined for the prem then half of the championship managers and some in league 1 could he put in the same bracket. Saying beale will be in the prem cos he did 22 games in the championship is a big call and good luck to him if he manages to get there but he's in the same boat as critchley, kompany, Edwards, Lowe, heckingbottom etc as they are all similar ages and have the potential to go higher.

Beale is a pr machine. He kept himself in the spotlight with his coaching videos and giving presentations all over the world. Doesn't necessarily mean he's destined for greatness. Our current manager is marginally ahead of beale as he's actually had success as a No1.
