Blackpool supporters where thinking he would be an England manager very popular overthere. I think he could be a good manager lets support him.

Agreed, not sure why people are so negative towards him, give the guy a chance.

I guess because the way he left Blackpool, just like Beale left us.

He wasn´t my 1st choice either because of that , but of course i wish him all the best now

I wonder if some of the delay was Critchley getting his support staff together?

Happy with Neil Critchley. Long coaching career. Success at Blackpool. Gerrard employed him, must thought he was good coach.

We're looking for coach to improve players rather than manager to inspire seasoned pros.

He seems to have a decent pedigree - I'm quite enthusiastic about his appointment and I'm glad club have moved relatively quickly since MB frigged off.

It's unfortunate he takes over as we're in freefall so we gotta be patient and accept it may take a dozen games or more for him to get us on an even keel again.

I'm sure he's up for the fight unlike Beale who ran off at his first sight of a bad run. They used to give white feathers to cowards like him.

Critchley will be joined at Loftus Road by Mike Garrity, who leaves his role as assistant head coach at Lincoln City, and Ian Brunskill, who was previously Critchley’s assistant head coach at Blackpool.

                            Welcome Critchley!

Good choice. Success at Liverpool and Blackpool bodes well.

Happy with this appointment. If we had appointed him instead of Beale I would have been pleased so do not see this as a downward step. Good coaching background and did a great job at Blackpool. We need someone who can pick the players up, instill some confidence and motivate and organise them. Hopefully he and his team can do that.

Appreciate many will disagree but club have handled situation well and got Critchley and his team in reasonably quickly and with minimum fuss. It was Beale who created this situation and left the club picking up the pieces. I like the fact that, unlike some times in the past, when we change manager or sign players it is just done, no leaks (usual press speculation aside) and sometimes first we hear about things is when they are announced. Can be extremely frustrating for us as fans but right way to go about things.

Make my mind up on him after 5/6 games . As said team in free fall. Yesterday they looked like rabbits in the headlights.
why Thomas and dozzel were selected is beyond both not up to it .
