Wolves fans online seem to think we are rich and Les has promised to throw a load of money at Beale in terms of wages and transfers. Amazes me that other clubs fans still seem to think we have money to spend

They plunged a load of cash yep got decent money for jota but not replaced him
let them think what they like but imo they squad are wolves is poor
Mick Beale deserves huge praise for his loyalty to the club here, he was offered loads more money and, for whatever reason, this club is where he chooses to be at this time in his career, moreso than before, I am now his biggest fan. What a guy. Come on u Rs!!!
Just seen the video, that is exactly what I like about the man, he has principles and integrity, and it's obvious he loves the players he is working with, I said on other threads I didn't think he would go, he is a thoroughly decent man, and I hope we have him for a long time, and he gets his wish to manage in the premiership, but as manager of Queens Park Rangers FC !!!
I'm really surprised he didn't take it, as much as we would have hated it as fans could you blame the guy for taking big $$$ that would set him and his family up or life? He obviously is happy here and realizes this won't be his last opportunity, Wolves may not have been a good fit for him anyway, I am so pleased he is staying because there is something to him that fits real well at our club!
MICK Beale has confirmed he is staying with QPR following an approach from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The R’s head coach was notified of a formal approach late last night, following the club’s 3-0 win over Cardiff City at Loftus Road.
This morning he made the decision to turn down the opportunity to speak with the Midlands-based club.
Beale spoke at length on the subject. You can watch the interview in full above or read a selection of his comments below:
“There has been a lot in the background and it has been a difficult few days for me personally, if I’m honest,” Beale said today (Thursday) at our Heston training ground.
“I was really focused on here and everything came out of the blue. These things really do snowball and everybody has an opinion and a view.
“I really did try to be honest in all the interviews I did and the most important thing was keeping the players focused on the job in hand, which was last night’s game against Cardiff.
“When I joined the club in the summer I found an ownership that was really honest with me about what they wanted. They gave me my first opportunity to be a manager and I took that task on with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.
“They enabled me to build a management team and they enabled me to recruit some players that I really wanted to work with.
“I had to speak to them (new players), sometimes their parents, sometimes their wives, to convince them that QPR was the right place to come.
“Wolves is a fantastic football club and it was a real privilege to be asked to speak to them but I didn’t think it was the right moment because I entered into an agreement here.
“Integrity and loyalty are big things for me, and if they are the values you live by you have to be strong.
“I have been all-in here and I have asked other people to be all-in so I can’t be the first person to run away from the ship.
“I don’t think we are anywhere near where I want QPR to be. We have a lot to do but I’m excited by it.”
QPR host Wigan Athletic at Loftus Road this weekend.
Seems like all the itk “done deals” were a load of bollocks.
Yep. Done at the weekend apparently. It would make sense too to tap him up before going through formal channels.
Wolves Forum having a melt down. Can't Blame them really .
Well done Mr Beale .. was in a cell with a fella in my youth ( soapy Taylor from Wolverhampton) , the accent and the B.O too much for me . Stay in London mate.
