Sorry i'm not having it that we are losing over a £1 million a month . Surely they would sell up if losing that much.
What the #### are we losing that on , certainly not players wages , i can't believe any of our players are on big money and it can't be transfer fees as we hardly spend anything.
I honestly believe our owners are gradually trying to recoup some of their money that they wasted on wages in the premier league
We got over 15 million for Eze the other year , wheres that gone ??

Football is hugely expensive and our revenues are not in real terms. Even at lower Championship standard wages are sky high for a club of our attendances.

I would be surprised if the owners weren't putting in £1m+ a month to keep the club afloat. I'm surprised it is only that. The average championship wage is £35k a week. That is £1.82m a year on just one player. If we have say 15 players on £20k a week that is £15.6m without add ons. Say we have 30 games a season and club squeezes £40 a person that is £18m a season. We obviously have sponsorship and TV money on top but you can see how quickly even lower end championship wages get eaten up.

Has been said before but money has ruined the game to an extent. Makes it so difficult for all but the elite.

I believe the aim was to get average player wages down to £8k a week. Some of the younger players are on £4k a week. Albert was the highest recently on £12k a week.

Do we know what our first teamers are actually on?? Stef on 18k per week is a lot of dough for a guy who has a lot of ground to make up to get back to the player we saw on loan. I would imagine willock, chair, dykes, dickie etc would be on low to mid teens. Dieng prob similar.

Not saying you guys don't have a grasp on business, but costs add up so quickly whe you're running one, shockingly so. There's all the support staff, youth and womens teams, their support staff, hospitality which all costs a fortune to run etc etc etc. Printer ink costs an arm and a leg these days. There's social media teams, accounting teams, teams checking in on teams, PA's and scouts. Fees on fees on fees.

Not just afew things or big ticket items like Stef's wages, but death by a thousand cuts, money getting tossed about everywhere and it's obvious the clubs biggest issue is not spending, it's income.
