I can't seem to find any odds now so perhaps the bookies have closed the book as its nailed on?

      LOVE this appointment if true.

Saw his long piece on YouTube laying out his philosophy and approach. VERY solid.

Of all the names mentioned, Beale has a pedigree head and shoulders above the others. Looks good.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

This signing shows real intent, assuming it happens. A big congratulations to Ferdinand if he really pulls it across the finish line. And some humble pie to eat for those of us that though he had lost it when we read rumours such as Rowberry and Ainsworth. It was probably never any thruth in it.

Based on his CV as a coach and all the positive testimonials I believe he is an upgrade on Warburton. He certainly fits the bill in terms of player development. The risk aspect is obviously his lack of experience as manager.

Happy if he is appointed. Maybe he can persuade Jordan Archer to come to QPR too.

Hoping he can live up to the hype and his £600k salary.

He works well with developing youngsters, so maybe we will see the likes of Duke-McKenna, Armstrong and even Shodipo given a run in the team.

Edit: I meant Cameron not Jordan Archer.

As highly rated as a is, I cant see him getting £600k as a rookie manager. Perhaps performance related leading to that in season two or three?

                Dunno??????.

Loads of Villa fans literally distraught at this news on Twitter saying they're f***ed now.
I really don't get that, it's their number 2, they still have Gerrard, they still have fantastic players, and they will hire another coach.
The same goes for fans of Glasgow Rangers and others saying that QPR will be premier league now.
I'm sorry but he won't have the players to work with here, and I hope Rs don't expect miracles from him.
I don't like seeing the over hyping of managers incoming because there will be problems and losses and then the fans turn on him.
Let's expect, hope for midtable and give the new bloke a chance to bed in

Excited by this potential appointment. I actually think his links to the Liverpool academy may be even more fruitful than his more recent roles at Rangers and Villa. Consider the quality of players that academy would have amongst it, then bear in mind the ludicrously high standards of their first team being up there with the best ever, then there will be so so many good prospects who will never get near that first team. Many will obviously go on loan but also may be some potentially very good Championship level players who could stand out at this level if given the chance and coached by someone of Beales pedigree…. Can’t see them standing in the way of those who might want to move on if no chance of reaching the standards of the Liverpool first team.

I read that is his pay at Villa,so would he be getting a pay cut to prove himself as a manager if we can't equal that?

Maybe the club could include a promotion bonus to more than make up the difference.
