I agree mate. We do it all too often. Balanta being the most recent. Great prospects, the both of them, but we need to be patient. They are not the answer to our problems.
    Your mum would love me...

One goal doesnt make you a natural goalscorer, but its good to read so many positives about the young man.
As for Balanta is he improving at all? Even when we are dire he still cannot get a game.

Lol fair play though W12....with all the shat we have had lately, its nice to have a debate about something good coming out of LR for a change.

Obviously he is young and raw....but him over Bent - Priskin.....no contest.

So overboard with win and praise.....till the next episode..

Shocking touch at times... but he was really difficult and wasn't afraid to get stuck in. Opposing centre backs wil fear him much more than they would to priskin or Bent

He has all the attributes yes. His potential is there to see. I'll be patient mate, im not saying he's gonna score 100 goals this season am i?! Im just so pleased to see a young player come through who looks like hes better than what we have. Especially when we're paying vine, agyemang big wages.
He didnt look overwhelmed or out of place today. Hes only what 18!? Plenty of time for him to grow and mature if he plays regular. Do you not think he'll score goals? involved in the majority of our chances today and with the right coaching will do very well.

Who was your motm today W12?

Spot on, first touch was awful but he definitely has potential

He had a very good game, won more headers in one match than agyemang won in the last 2 months!!!...

Was a breath of fresh air and great to see! Hope he continues this!

His game needs a lot of work but he has great potential. I wouldn't call him big, but does appear to possess good strength and he will get stronger. I don't think he won a lot of headers, he did win some importantly and does look like he'll score a few headed goals in his career. What he did do was make a genuine attempt to win every header he went up even if he didn't stand a hope in hells chance of winning the ball which if you think about Ageymangs amazing ability to retract his neck into his torso whenever the ball is in the air puts it into perspective.

As for being a natural goalscorer I don't think you can say that at all, far to early IMO. His first touch let him down a little at times but if he lost the ball he done everything to win it back. Overall a brilliant full debut from the youngster, deserved his goal, great knock down to Buz for Simpsons goal and showed more desire and passion than Ageymang, Vine, Priskin, Bent & Pellicori rolled in to one and god only know's why we have been wasting our time with these players when we have youngsters like German & Balanta who need first team experience.

Give German a run in the team and Balanta as well partnering Simpson, we have more chance of pulling clear of the bottom of the table with these two strikers than the as before mentioned donkeys.
Your joking right, he won more headers today than Agymang has done all season!!!

The glimpses I'd seen of him before I didn't really see anything to warrant praise but today he did very well, scored a goal which is the main thing for any striker, but more thna that he worked hard (possibly more than anyone else on the pitch) he won a good amount of headers despite not looking that tall? Held the ball up well and looked confident which is a big thing at his age. He still has a lot of room to improve but that's a good thing, let's hope he gets a run in the team and continues to improve, if the Warnock rumors are true then that would be very good for him as Warnock has helped bring a lot of youngsters through at Palace!

I would start him regularly with Simpson now! Both got a goal and worked well together. He played with no fear at all

Which means what? Ageymang hasn't won any headers this season, do your self a favour and reread my post.

Leon Best against us won lots of headers, get some perspective.

The other thing you need to remember is Doncaster had arguably the smallest back 4 you'll see all season.

Not trying to take anything away from the lad, he done well but I would hardly say he leaps like a salmon though with the sort of training Sir Les put himself through there is no reason why he cannot.

The kid did well today, shows a lot of potential, deserves to be in the starting line-up against Middlesborough next week.
                                Well played today, Antonio.
