It’s an uninspiring list of names being banded about, but I will still go and watch games, but will not buy a ST if it is Campbell or Sherwood. We fans are entitled to protest against some decisions and this is one of the ways to do so.

As Oslo said, to not renew Warburton’s contract would suggest appointing someone with a better record or believe that he will continue with the progress he made. Neither of those two give us faith that they will be able to do so.

And yes, I remember Frank Sibley as a manager. He later resigned saying he never really wanted the job , but stepped up as he wanted to help the club after Sexton resigned.

As the media has suggested we are after a coach not a manager and as such will be cheaper. That saving could go towards an additional player.

We may not be after better than Warbs but different to. Perhaps the DoF wants more input into the team?

The natives would love Sir Les having more input into the team ...

If these reports are true of the type of manager or coach we are after, it's time for the owners to sell up and take LF with them as they have not got a clue how to run a football club, we are only going to head in one direction and that is division one.

Well, he seems to dictate the style of play and effectively criticised Watbs for not taking up the option of another striker in Jan. Seems there was friction been Les and Warbs and perhaps the role is being re-defined. Players have departed and I'm expecting arrivals before the new manager/coach is appointed. Style of play, budgets and scouting reports should be enough for bringing in players-perhspa?

Sir Les has been brilliant for this football club.
Whilst most of you were lauding up Harry Redknapp even though he was running the club into the ground, Sir les ignored all those deluded fans and got shot of him.
He does the same with Warburton, allbeit he hasn't done the same kind of damage but Sir Les know when a manager has gone stale and needs replacing urgently.
I like a man that makes sensible but sharp decisions and doesn't faff about. We need him to continue the good work.
The next move won't be rushed because that's when time and calm heads is required. We have no reasons to not believe in this man.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Mainly agree. Couldn't stand Redknapp. Not so down on Warburton. Final few months were shocking but overall a decent three years. Was 60/40 in favour of replacing him.

Dragging a club as deep in the mire as we were takes years and we have progressed. Les has played his part in that.

I was suspicious of Warburton from the get-go and had his card marked within 4 months. I knew we'd achieve nothing with him at the helm so I just focussed on individual games and tried to enjoy them as standalone pieces of entertainment.

Basically you CAN get through it - There's no need to boycott.
                    What nonsense

Warburton was a success. Should still be in the job.

See where we are end of season !!!

I want to know why the club has extended shodipo's contract.
We don't have a manager yet players have been released and some re signed.

Who the #### is running the football side of this club?
                        Those decisions are manager decisions.
How many games as shodipo played for QPR?
                        Joke it really is.

We will this season appoint a 1st team coach and not a manager as such, so from now on the DOF brings in the players and then the coach has to work with what his got at his disposal. In principle, this is how I understand the role of a Director Of Football.

                            Then that stinks.
The team coach/ manager should select his own players.
But more to the point, this bloke has played very few games for QPR, and has only shone in lge 1.
Is this where the dof is taking us, and this is a preparation signing?

That's a very good question. Must be Les and his collection of super coaches. Unless Hoos has become an expert. Surely any incoming manager would want a say. Total uncertainty.

Mide is probably on a low wage, it's only a 12 month deal. I'd rather see him get a crack at pre season and see what happens. We have no other right wingers apart from uncle who has yet to agree a new deal.
