Agree, too slow moving ball forward. Nice little triangles in our half.

I am sorry to say but Farke is outside our League. No chance we can afford him.

Sean Dyche is not an upcoming man in the game, but would probably know how to create a team from the back.

Bring back Jim Magilton. At least at ht he would throw a headbutt onto a couple of lads. Mainly stef and dickie for fannying around most of the time. Be one way of getting a reaction.

At the start of the season, Warburton set himself the target of bettering last season's performance. He immediately regretted saying that and tried to row back a bit by qualifying the statement to mean that improvement might be say, more goals scored for instance.

Anyway, we finished 9th on 68pts last term. I'd say it's unlikely we'll better that..... we need another 10pts to beat it.

I'm beginning to think that we only did well in 2021 due to playing covid ghost games. For whatever reason, we adapted better than others to playing in a covid bubble. Maybe, Warburton's intelligence, organisational and analytical skills enabled him to be a very effective manager through those times?

Whatever. Since things have got back to normal we've badly floundered and gone backwards. You can literally trace the start of our dramatic downturn in form to the start of the year and the launch HM Gov's "living with covid" timetable and the relaxing of restrictions.

We have had a terrible run of Injuries which is something that needs to be looked at.

Are the medical staff looking after the players properly ? Are the training methods looking after the players.

the difference before January was that the team pretty much picked itself but after the injuries and tinkering has severely disrupted the team.

I also thing 2nd time round teams have worked us out - a high press - and double mark Willock means that we are effectively neutralised as an attacking threat.
