I just dont think he made us play as a "team" with those he inherited or gained.
You do have a point there.
Even the worst teams in the league create.
We can go whole matches boring the pants off me playing safe boring passing sideways and backwards.
But we have seen his teams playing more directly and quicker so not sure what's happened

Getting rid of Warburton right now would be a massive, massive mistake.

We have seven games left now until the end of the season, I would much rather we waited until the end of the season before deciding whether or not to change managers.

Im not MWs biggest fan, but sacking him now with seven games left would be very harsh.

Warburton along with the ex Arsenal coach's contacts have picked us up very good players very cheaply.
We have then developed them something we haven't seen for years at QPR.
Be careful what you wish for
That`s true, but he lacks tactical awareness and how and when to make substitutions. We can see that ourselves in almost every match, can`t we?

I'm in two minds as to whether he needs to go but if he goes, now is as good a time as any, we've already spunked this season from being in a great position to where we are now we must be one of the worst teams in the division on 2022 form so we're only going to get further away from the play offs, not closer - it's 2022/23 we need to be looking at now and hope it's not a relegation scrap.

injuries and unavailability of key players, dieng, chair, willock, dykes, field.

we do not have knowledge of what he was allowed to do in January transfer window, more likely Les and Lee did not sanction any further signings but you place all the blame on Warburton.

                      we are doing well

we are competitive, and won many games in last few minutes, says something about the spirit.

Until six weeks ago, nearly everyone else was saying we are heading down the right path.

if Warburton goes know, it's start all over again comp.ete change philosophy, 15 in 15 out because that's what happens with new managers.

The club needs stability - it has it currently.

It's been disappointing last few games but even still we only three points off sixth.
Who is coming in at short notice to take over and turn thi gs around with players unfamiliar to him, right now.

Give us your chosen one instead of Warburton. Who is your number one choice and exp.ain why it is needed right now.

I posted on another thread weeks ago , the sort of manager i'd would like us to give a chance to.
A young manager with fresh ideas , that plays entertaining attacking football , it's no coincidence that the best teams that do well , play this way .
A manager that gets us organised and can make formation changes and the right substitutions when needed.
I gave a few ideas of the manager at MK Dons (manning) or Oxford (pilkington) or a foreign coach , the club should always be keeping their eyes open and have scouts for all this .
I'm not certain it would work out but we need to try , there's no point carrying on as we are , we are sliding down the table and will carry on that way because he won't change his tactics . Its been blindingly obvious since Stoke at home , we've been poor , (yes i know we won some games since then but more by luck than anything and the performances have been poor.)
We've only used Dieng / Archer / Marshall and now Westwood as our keepers not six as you say .
You are right about not knowing if Ferdinand or Hoos sanctioned any transfers in January but we got two loan players in that we did'nt need , we had centre halves Jordy and Masterson to replace our other three if anyone got injured, it's down to Warburton not fancying them obviously. We had loads of midfield replacements , we did'nt need Hendrick .
Why did'nt we sign better loans than them , where we needed them , ie; full backs or a centre forward.
You say we are only 3 points off sixth but in a couple of week it's likely to be 10 points.
I hope i'm wrong but very much doubt it the way it's going. I can't believe i've typed all this , my forefinger is aching now.

The advantage of sacking Warbs now would seemingly be to give a new manager a look at the squad in competitive games with a view to next season. Realistically there is no replacement lined up is there, and if there is I'm not sure he'd get a good enough look at the squad anyway. If there isn't he's got to be found, would take time, should've been done around a month ago to give a real indication of what we'd need going forward.

I like that Warbs is trying new things at least selection wise.

He really let himself and everyone down in Jan, we really should have made some signings that made sense.

With where we are at, where we've been and where we could be it would be, I feel like we shouldn't sack him now, though I'd have backed it afew weeks ago if there was a ready replacement. This is a long game and we should treat the next 7 games as a fresh start to the season as much as that's possible selection and tactics wise. I feel like it's coming, you can;t be this pants for this long and not try something new.

If he loses 5 or more of the next 7 playing the same way we have been then seeya later for summer.

The only reason to replace Warbs would be to freshen things up and have a new voice. Hes done wonders in his three years with us. I hope he stays.

Many posters are making assumptions that their preferred replacement managers actually want this job, our budget and expectations probably rule many of them out!
