  • MW replacement??

Basically I'm putting this up because some have been talking about getting shot of MW, yet I have yet to hear a name of a decent replacement?
I personally want to keep him regardless of what happens this season, and I have had a few pops at him myself.
    So let's hear it then, who's it to be_ _ _ ?
    Over to you

Nobody out there better for the budget.

But if you're forcing me on names. Od those available and in budget it would be Kenny Jacket, Paul Lambert and Garry Monk. Best stick with what we've got eh!

Not a good thread kev , we are in the play offs and not mid table or fighting relegation

The idea that he'd be replaced by the club at this point is absurd.

The idea that any fan would want him replaced given where we are is very close to absurd.

I cannot think of a better option right now, given our current setup and the clubs apparent desire to stick with a longer term plan. Brentford have a lot to thank MW for. He deserves criticism because no one in a management role is immune to it, but he's doing nothing close to sackable offences.

On a side note I am not convinced he is the man to take us up and keep us up. He may well get us there but I don't like the look of this team to stay there.

How do we know MW ain't good enough for the premiership ? With the money and better players he may surprise us.
I'd stay with him even if we come back down.

I put this up out of anger and disgust more than anything, just need to emphasise that, lots of people have mentioned getting rid, but none were prepared to put their head above the parapet and name a replacement, I did express my support for MW and I do believe we still have enough to make the playoffs, then it's game on and anything can happen, so I hope that I have made my position absolutely clear, I'm all in

Definitely stick with Warbs. Still think he lacks that real winners instinct but has done a really good job. A calm and intelligent man who seems to be liked by the players

Like with all managers he will have a ‘sell by’ date in terms of the dressing room being bored of him and his impact being limited. That time has not come yet!

Definitely stick, brought out the best from our players
Seems to be a good fit for both parties

Absolutely Dave, I didn't start this thread to knock MW, I started it to call out all those that were ridiculously calling for him to be given the elbow, see you at Wembley !!!

Hardly read anything on here about getting rid of him, so don’t get the silly thread Kev

Mate spread over several different threads in recent weeks there has been a trend of people expressing views that have definitely pointed to the fact that they are very unhappy with MW, understandable, and some that have blatantly said it's time to call it a day, not understandable, I'm not going to trawl back through every post, and and thread and re-post to prove my point, look back yourself, the thread is not silly if you have been paying attention to what is being said, again I must emphasise my support for MW and the way he has progressed the team, but I have critisised him at times along with everybody else, it seems, but I want him to stay
