MW has a valid point here, but those players must now keep us in the promotion hunt and not let it slip. They need to get back to winning matches and scoring goals from now on.

Wallace injured and Dickie banned for next 2 games leave the door open for Sanderson and McCallum (don’t bother with Odebajo).

As I posted before, I think we need to start with Dykes and Austin, but only if the team put crosses into the box for them to attack. It’s pointless otherwise. Whether we go with 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-3-1-2 or 3-4-1-2.

Chair and Johansen might need to drop to the bench on Saturday, but I doubt MW will do that.

MW said before the Barnsley game that McCallum would need another 2 more reserve games before being considered for 1st team action.

McCallum played 70 odd mins in the 1st of his 2 games on Monday against Blackburn U23s.

We are stuck? with the manager and players till the end of this season. What does need doing ASAP is getting the confidence back in our defence, ditch the wing back idea (until we have the right personel). Getting a balanced midfied, whose main job should be setting up the strikers and protecting the back four.

Nullify then progress Football is a relatively simple game, but it gets bogged down with this system, that system, these patterns, those patterns.
Do the simple things well, expand on them when the situation allows, pass the ball to someone in the same kit, job done

Our personnel is all about a 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1 on paper. It's amazing that wingbacks without having wingbacks has gotten us this far really.

He's definitely a manager that is sh it for changing things up and rebuilding a side massively let down in confidence. When things aren't going well you tend to learn allot about your manager in every form of life. I really don't have the confidence in him I'm afraid. Would I keep him if we finish mid table? No because that would be very disappointing and underwhelming
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Stefan Is the engine in our team/midfield imo. Or I can phrase it a bit differently; have we won a single match without him? Not saying he should start every match but who can replace him. Hendricks maybe?

I feel warbs is stubborn and will keep playing the same system and picking under performing players including his captain

You can phrase it any way you like, he has been disappointing this season.

Willock is the engine of the team.

MW says one thing then does another. He has NOT employed the full squad as promised, and has steadfastly refused to change tactics that have yielded us one offensive goal in four games.

Get you facts straight! Where have I defended him? Our problem is that we don`t have a player who can do his job when he is out of form or struggle with injuries.

I don't know what his stats were but basically if he wasn't recycling the ball sideways or backwards he was giving it away.

Warbs chat was honest, and to be fair Stef has been amazing in the past but he's not looked good for a fair while now.

It looked at the start of the game he'd got players to think more direct and pass forward through the lines, not sure what he's expecting with only Lyndon up there, who i will say did wotk hard. Chair was selfish as usual (sure sometimes it comes off for him but the guy is selfish, perhaps born from a lack of options), and Willock very quiet.

Just ineffective last night, all of them.
Not sure Amos should have been taken out of the team now when he was playing so well.

Agree that he is stubborn. Just look at how he stuck with his 4-2-3-1 in the 1st half of last season even though we were mostly rubbish and Dykes was struggling.

There will be at least 2 enforced changes for the Hull match, but will he change formation.

I also agree that we don’t really have specialist wing backs but Adomah and Wallace have done reasonably well there and up until the last few games no one was really complaining about them.

As for win without Johansen, we beat Birmingham and Blackburn.

If he is not 100% fit, then maybe he too can sit out the Hull match.

If McCallum is still not fit, we have little choice but to play Odebajo. Who really knows what side Warburton will select?
