1 dangerous cross all match. ONE.

Tells you all you need to know about the flanks.

    Midfield ineffective, entirely.

Not one player looked good. If the goalie has a good game then the other 10 are probably not having the best.

Maybe they are tired but I would suggest that we have been riding our luck for some time now. Yes as Warbs said these players got us into 4th, but there have not been all that many stand out performances (yes some but more so average resulting in a tight win).

Only thing he can try is switch u some personnel, then if that doesn't work try new formations, but given his commitment to wing backs that ain't happening. I'd get Amos in, Ball in, rotate them with Stef, Field and Dozzel. Try Macallum on the left, probably Albert persists on the right unless there is a better idea?

We've all got our own opinions mate, so on yours :

Marshall = done nothing wrong to be dropped, infact probably been our best player since he came to the club!

Uncs = not a WB! Love him to bits, but clearly legs have gone and he can't get up and down the pitch like he used to. Particularly in an unfamiliar WB role he is being asked to play.

McCallum = is he even fit to start yet?

Stef? Why? He has been woeful lately! A shadow of the player we had last season. He is the biggest passenger in the team at the moment, it's as if he hasn't taken his slippers off from leaving the house the way he plays of late!

Gray? I'm 53 mate and I would fancy my chances of beating him in a foot race sprint and putting more effort in over a game than him! Another one who has the look of 'I don't want to be here'!

True, but I think it's more than that. This time last season we were playing some really attractive attacking football. Reading game aside, when was the last time we played well for the full 90 mins.
we'll probably grind out a couple of wins and that will put a different spin on things again, but I'm starting to think this team has now reached its peak, and has done remarkably well to get to where they are, but it could be a tough end to the season.

            Marshall
Sanderson Dunne Barbet McCallum (played 2 U23 games)
            Adomah Field Amos Willock
Dykes Austin (maybe won’t last more than 60 mins but hopefully will have scored and we will be winning).

The instructions for the team is to move the ball forward quicker and get crosses into the box for the strikers.

You could be right about the tough end given we have games against Fulham Blackburn Forest Sheffield United Stoke Luton Blackpool amongst a few other could be tricky games like Derby Peterborough.

We could of course get back to winning games if this is indeed just a blip.

I normally shy away from doing this but a 4-4-2 formation for next match
                Marshall

                Sanderson
                Dunne
                Barbet
                McCallum

                Amos
                Hendrick
                Dozzell
                Field

                Willock
                Dykes

should allow us to compete more in midfield, Chrissy up alongside Dykes to give him some support

Speculative team I know, but something has to change, and it surely cant be any worse than it is now

Disgraceful performance, 1 shot on target after 88th minute, Dickie Barbet Dunne, giving ball away constantly, Johansson & Chair non existent, Willock didn't seem to be able to get into the game, Dykes couldn't hold the ball feeding off scraps, Uncle totally exposed, as for Moses I'd rather not say what I think of him, oh I will he's ####, Add to that our slow lethargic football, and no urgency which allows teams to get their shape back , teams have sussed us out

We know the squad needs further improvement but we've got what we have within the budget allowed.

After 46 games we'll be where we deserve to be and better squads will prevail.

I cant believe what we've achieved to date and perhaps the gaps are now starting to show.

I still think it's a tactics issue and not a personnel issue.

Looking at our squad, I don't see any solutions or magic bullets sitting on the sidelines.

It's up to manager and coaches to set us up to be far more dynamic and attack-minded.

Currently, we seem to be losing by dint of being passive, unambitious and one-dimensional. Only gaffer can change thatvI reckon.

pissing about at the back for 80% of the game isn't going to hurt the opposition. Our forwards have basically been unemployed lately

Whatever Warburton does he needs to drop Johansen. It's lucky we have one of the lesser teams in the division in Hull city next .We seemed to have lost any hunger or drive we had. We've become predictable , I can see where the ball is going before it's played .... Id incorporate ball , Amos and dozzell into the team they can't be worse than last nites clueless , slow and lazy midfield .

Agree teams have sussed us out. Let us have possession because we won't do an awful lot with it. Strikers all off form but to be fair getting next to no decent service. Defence looks vulnerable.

Earlier in the season we were solid at the back and posed a threat at the other end but a lot of the time the midfield was doing nowhere near enough and we were nicking results rather than controlling games.

Do not understand how both Stef and Charlie are so different to last season. It wasn't that long ago! Stef was different class and Charlie looked dangerous, albeit maybe not full 90 minutes.

We need to take some out of sorts players out for a while and change the system. Play two up top but get more balls into the box to give them something to attack otherwise they will be wasted. Two strikers with Willock and Chair buzzing around should in theory cause all kinds of problems to most teams in this division. We have a reasonable choice of CBs and decent goalie or two. Whilst we have our limitations we have enough to be able to change things around a bit and get back on track. More of the same is unlikely to be the answer.

We have always historically been a ball playing team, but in the past it's always been with a purpose, , I know its worthless looking back at the past, but we have had teams that have played some wonderful flowing attacking football, and this team have shown that at times this season to a certain extent, but it seems to be getting worse with the playing it around at the back, players looking sideways and back instead of looking forward, it seems such a simple thing to remedy but they don't seem to have the mindset to do it at the moment
