I'm with the majority on here with this. Saying that, he got a great reception yesterday
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

My cat would get a warm reception from a happy Loftus Rd 3-0 up at half time.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Zesh Rehman is one of my best mates and snooker companions. I think I might give the club a call and tell them he's available.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I have to say I had not even read this thread but was shocked to see him yesterday being inducted into the forever Rs. He was ok at first but quickly went downhill, so cannot understand how he is now up there alongside ‘club legends’.

Yes, he got a good reception from fans chuffed at being 3-0 up. Had we been losing I doubt the same would have happened. And yes, I too recall his embarrassing defending in that MK Dons FA cup tie.

the Forever Rs is for players who served the club well and nothing to do with anti racism.

As for Bardsley, I guess the club invited him and he refused as he wants nothing to do with the club.

Has Danny Shittu been included or invited. He is far more worthy than Anton Ferdinand.

Maybe we will see the likes of Cisse and Samba in the future.

You don't have to be a good player to be inducted?!! Not sure what that means to the fans. Surely being a a good player or a great servant to the club is the criteria that gets you on the list??

Anton ferdinand was only here for a season and a half. He was poor and that's being generous. The incident with that scumbag terry is the only thing people remember from antons time in a qpr shirt.

That's not something that should get him in the the forever r's club. The club supported him and rightly so. Does that make him a legend?

                Ok, thanks.

I forgot to include in my post that I didn't bother clapping him.

Agreed, but I suspect to be inducted you have to be a) keen & b) available to turn up.
If he still lives in the USA / Florida, it’s less likely…..!?

Forever Rs is not a legends club...

Being a legend does help, course, but it isn't a legends club!

It's to support ALL players after football, a place to feel welcomed, that was the goal.

Being a legend and playing for the club for years, will naturally help, course it will. But in reality, it's more than just a club for players who played 100+ matches.

Anton did well for us, he wasn't poor during a hard year. But keep in mind the years he had after that issue on field and the loss of his mum and the abuse he got.

Club got it right, more than just a club, its a home!

Can't agree that anton was anything other than poor. I judge him on the performance he gave during his time here. Leaving out all other issues most on here agree he wasn't good for us and his place in the forever r's club for me isn't deserved but that's just my opinion.

You basically baited me for that reply, did you. haha.

Anton did well in the season we stayed up, fact. In-fact his flick on to Cisse kept us up. Just saying...

Easy to forget how poor we was that year..

Again, to be clear, your opinion on what the Forever R's club is not relevant, because its not what the Forever Rs club is. So moan all you like, they're doing a great thing..

No baiting from me. Not sure what your agenda on this is. Not moaning, just think the player doesn't deserve a place on the forever r's list. I'll leave it with you.

                                Very strange....

haha My Agenda? You asked me what the Forever R's club was for when I said it isn't soley for Legends, then disagreed with me?

Even now, you are. But thats what the 'CLUB' made the Forever R's for.

Im just saying to everyone, I wouldnt look at it as a legends club.
