I saw a refreshing interview with Paul Warne the Rotherham manager today.

It’s the norm for League 1 clubs to be playing 3 matches a week.Hope MW is listening as I have never heard of players complaining about being asked to play more often.

It won’t be a coupon buster to lose to QPR at the W/End.

I'm in the not bothered about cups club, maybe a couple of rounds would be nice then a big payday away to one of the big boys to bring in some dough, but it's the play offs or automatic promotion for me all day long.

So why do you support QPR if you don't want success for them?......What is your ambition for the club?....The Premier league has to be the goal but we need to do it sensibly next time. No offence to a fellow fan but what do you want from the club?

Not sure kev was saying we are getting promoted by any means. He just said he would prefer us to have a real crack at the top 6 and see where it takes us. To be honest I wouldn't want to go back up as I hate everything the Premier league has become. Full of cheats, divers, var, non contact football, walk up fans who are too busy filming the game and taking selfies, Jamie scumbag carragher and the textbook manager but couldn't do it in real life Gary neville talking sh1te. Pair of d***heads.

For me if we went up, the money safeguards the club for a few years and we can invest more money on the stadium and provide the ability to keep hold of our best players without selling them to enable us to stay afloat. Our biggest asset is the fact that we have people running the club who won't allow the same nonsense to happen again after last time. Enjoy the season. If we go up then fine. Just be realistic about what happens next. If we don't go up then I'm more than happy to stay in this league. For me, it's the most entertaining league in the world!!

Be good for moses to get some game time on sat. Great news that McCallum isn't far off aswell although he's had a significant injury and I hope he's not rushed back again. He's not our player for a start and I bet Norwich are reminding us of that fact. Hopefully he's good to go when the time is right.

I have been asking myself that question for nearly 52 years since March 1969 and after the 1000 Rangers matches I’ve been too.

What I want from them is to fix the toilets in the South Africa Road stand, and sell Fuller’s beer.

In the championship anyone can beat anyone , go in the PL and we will get beat most weeks . VAR uncelebrating a goal you've just celebrated . Mercanaries kissing the badge . Loic Remy in a Chelsea kit whilst he's a QPR player ,sitting next to Koreans , Chinese , Swedes because they will pay £60 sovs to get in and real fans can't afford too. I could go on . I just want to watch 11 players give it their all every week if that takes us up so be it if it doesn't fine . As long as they all give 100% and it's entertaining I'll go home happy each week .

Of course I would love Rangers to get promoted this year, but not in the present Sky TV run Premiership format, besides the club coffers being richly enhanced what is the point?

It was fantastic being a Rangers fan in the first division in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s., we could and did beat anybody.

The Premier League has been great for Sky, the big 6 and certain individuals at the Premier League, and of course, Leicester City.

A Saturday in May at Wembley in the FA Cup final, yes please.

Under Warburton, our record in cup competitions has improved from diabolical to poor. I feel this improvement derives from fact he seems to get a lot of home ties against "lesser" teams rather than any improved tactical approach of his. That said, for 30+ years we regularly capitulated to "lesser" teams so I must give him some credit for the minor uplift he seem to have achieved in our cup fortunes.

Anyway, I'm not at all confident about Saturday. They're top of League One with only 4 losses all season 2 away and 2 home. Against us in last 6 games they are W3 D1 L2 despite them mostly being relegation fodder.

This season in EFL Cup we have beaten Oxford and drawn with Os and Sunderland so our record against "lesser" teams isn't convincing in my view.

Aside from the above dreary stats there is our attitude to consider..... do the club want to progress in the cup and clog the fixtures up? I think it's unlikely we've seen the end of the covid postponements so progression in the cup could hugely undermine our league campaign.

Of course a trip to Wembley in May would be nice but it needs to be for a play-off final, not an FA Cup Final. Weighing it all up I'd be very happy to field a scratch XI and lose on Saturday.

You can say the same about them. Do Rotherham want a cup run ? Promotion is more important to them so they may field their 2nd string (and still prob win)

Laddapo won't be playing that's for certain. They will come and give it a go but we are expected to win this even with changes. Should still see 5 or 6 regulars with archer, ball, dozzell, Thomas, moses all starting. Dykes needs a goal and Gray needs mins so prob start them both again.
